Nintendo 3DS, there is some small hype on this thing claiming its close to what a 360/ps3 can do in terms of processing and graphics, according to some devlopers who got the kit already.

the whole conference was not that great all in all.. GoW3, MGS Rising was the only 2 games i was interested. Halo Reach and Fable was just there as expected, but nothing to be wowed about
i was kinda hoping microsoft would introduce a new IP or Rare was rumoured to make an announcement of Killer Instinct 3
Kinect was too much of a bore, seem Microsoft is trying to pull more with casual gamers this year that what has nintendo done in the past 3 years, the espn partnership, more ubisoft health/fitness games and harmonix dance game was crapfest.. nothing that will really benefit gamers in general

seriously, whats the point of watching movies together on kinect while you chat online with your friends? why not just have them come over and watch in hd full screen rather in game screen. Forza's feature to look into the cars in detail only has a novelty that will last 2 mins.

im definitely getting the 360 slim, i have a feeling my original 360 is on its last legs, been experiencing alot of freezing lately.

EA shows MoH multiplayer that looks more like Bad Company 2 rather than Modern Warfare because DiCE is developing it.

Bad Company 2 will release an expansion simply titled Vietnam near the end of the year. CoD Black Ops will be released in Nov and the setting is set in Vietnam..

Here's my thoughts on Microsoft's announcements at E3 2010 (http://www.hardcoreware.net/e3-2010-microsoft-review/)

And check out this video of PS Move (http://www.crunchgear.com/2010/06/15/up-close-with-ps3-move/). It makes Kinect look stupid in comparison. But what matters of course is the games... We'll have to wait a couple more hours to see how those look. They can't be much worse than Kinect!

Man that Nintendo briefing was AWESOME. So many great games from the past... DK, Goldeneye, Golden Sun, Dragon Quest, Metroid, Zelda, KID ICARUS.. Epic Mickey looks fucking amazing too.

3DS, I guess it's hard to get across. And they showed no games... It's pretty gimmicky, but not as bad as 3D TV's and movies! I'll wait and see for myself before deciding.

Goldeneye is going to be the biggest failure of all, its running on the same modified engine that ran MW reflex. the trailer just looks complete shit...

Metroid looks awesome, and looks like Retro Studios is the new Rare, DKC looks good, i like Nintendo keeping it 2d gameplay.

that Zelda Sky Sword was a horrible presentation, Miyamoto was struggling with trying to sync his movement on the sensor bar, otherwise, Sky Sword should have been the launch title for the Wii, the wow factor isnt there

i was kinda dissapointed with the 3DS, why couldnt they put a 2nd analog stick? it was a pain in the ass aiming with the touch screen when when playing Metroid on DS..

also Kid Icarus looks like it still has a long way to go in development, graphics look really rough, however, there is some parts on that trailer where it shows vast landscape and draw distance..something that i have yet to see on the psp.
im hoping the 3DS specs will be slightly more powerful than the psp..

Nintendo's presentation this year was back to focusing the hardcore gamer.......thank goodness

Sony's conference was dope. Lots of great games coming to psn. I like thei PSN plus idea. I'll be subscribing to that for sure. $3+ for free psn games, coupons and content is a steal, the only gay thing is that its for the "duration of your subscription". Thats kinda shitty

Microsoft's deal with Activision with the COD Maps are still a big deal considering how big that franchise has become

but overall, id say Sony had the best presentation this year, they treated Move as a core platform, LBP 2 and Kevin Butler stole the show

but still not good in E3 standards
Microsoft's focus on Kinect seems like a reminiscent of Nintendo's 2008 presentation.. casual gaming...

Move, along sub controller and the camera adds about the same price as Kinect, $150

im excited about the 3DS, it was shown way too early of its stage, so no good demo of its hardware was shown. Kid Icarus look really rough

Zelda looks ok. The Wii controls are ghey as usual.
Gears Of War 3... 4 Player Co-op should be hella fun.
Need 4 Speed looked like it was on rails.. boring...
Deadspace 2 actually looks entertaining.. will definitely give it a try.
Goldeneye graphics looks as sad as my N64 Version.
Call Of Duty : Black Ops , LOL on PSN. PSN sucks for first person and multiplayer anyways.
Fable 3, Fable 2 was entertaining at best... Hopefully Fable 3 will be darker.
Metroid, Donkey Kong, Kid Icarus looks very promising as well.
Halo.. looked like Halo.. shooting ugly monsters with ugly weapons.

AC2 was bullshit because the skipped chapters became paid DLC content even though it was already in the disc.

Seems like the new AC will have co-op in it. I thought AC storyline shouldve moved on to the present. I guess not. still pretty good

Socom Confrontation was actually a decent game, despite the fact that the engine was filled with bugs.. there was soo much shit in that game that they couldnt fix it, in the 2 years that the game was around..

although there is still good amount of 8000 dedicated players in that game, the community is amazing..

lol at Slant Six for recently laying off a bunch of their employees, not to mention their project got shut down for a rumoured new SW: Battlefront game... the development team sucks

Microsoft:

-Project Natal/Kinect FAIL! It's garbage. They should just stick with their exclusives rather than trying to mimic some of the Wii features with motion sensor.

-Gears of War 3 looks like a shitload of fun with 4-player co-op. I'm sure it'll be epic seeing as though it's the final chapter to this great trilogy.

-Halo: Reach looks amazing. The multiplayer beta was tons of fun and the campaign sure looks extremely impressive.

Sony:

-Though the Playstation Move/Eye toy does look pretty smooth and good (especially compared to Microsoft's Kinect) it is still somewhat of a Wii copy. Again, Sony and Microsoft should stick to their TRUE next-gen games instead of focusing too much on this motion sensor crap. But hey, who knows? Maybe Move and Kinect will turn out to be a success afterall. We'll just have to wait and find out.

-The new Twisted Metal looks superb. Loved the old TM titles, and this too looks like a blast.

-Killzone 3 looks bad-ass!

Nintendo:

-N3DS looks fantastic! 'nuff said.

-A new Zelda is always delightful to hear!

-Goldeneye N64... great classic game. Let's just hope the Wii remake will be just as good, or better (though I highly doubt it). But who knows, fingers crossed! I just pray that the gamecube controller is compatible with this game because it's pretty much the closest thing to the old N64 controller.


Xbox 360/Playstation 3/PC

-Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood... Woot Ezio Auditore again? YES!! Multiplayer? YES!! How can this game go wrong man? Great stuff.

-Metal Gear Solid: Rising... finally a next-gen MGS title that is not just for the PS3 or PSP. Sounds like fun!



Overall, sounds like a great year for gaming!
