It is that time to refinish my rims and want to do it before the summer ends. I was pretty confident that I wanted to do them in Satin Black, but now I am having second thoughts.

Bright bright yellow with or without Polish lip.
Gunmental with Polish lip.
Satin black with or without Polish lip.
Just Keep them the same?

Help me out guys....

hm.. only reason i might not do satin black is because it does accentuate the wheel gap a bit more. I am already lowered on Eibachs and don't want to go lower >.<.

Gunmetal throughout looks sleeker IMO, polished lip might look a bit tacky

It's actually not chrome. It's hyper Silver and it's pretty damn hard to maintain in good condition.

those spartan bronze wheels are the new release from the Work Gnossis line, brand new for 2010. And yes the color and finish is so gangster it would look good on anything, hell I'd paint my car that color.

black on black has been beaten to death, I don't even turn my head to check out black rims on black cars anymore. But it's up to you ultimately, if you want to blend in and do something everyone has already done and is doing then go for some sort of black out, but if you want to do something different and unique in a good way then go with the spartan bronze satin finish.

I suggest you do something unique and fresh, but that's my preference as I don't like blending in with the rest.
My new wheel setup for example I'm doing something real fresh, gloss black step lip with matte face and doing a time attack pinstripe to make it really pop.

Good advice G-spec. I was thinking of something to make my car stand out but not WTF style. I want to keep my car classy and semi VIP .. I mean it's a Volvo lol. Bronze and stain black is def going to be a top choice for me. I just wonder if it has to be powder coated to get that finish or can it just be painted?
