All I can say is Wow. Pretty soon 3D in games will be of Avatar like quality?

Hopefully this time around, more than 50% of the PCs out there can actually play the game at those detail levels.

Hard to say. The resolution is too low to draw any conclusions.

Also that's a single frame, which may not have been drawn in real-time. A 486 could render that 1 frame if given enough processing time.

funny how crysis came out 3 years ago and half of the systems now still cant run the game at max video settings.

I thought that photo was already a few years old...and it was for the first crysis game engine, not the latest one.

I highly doubt that. I'm betting you most of the high end comps will still be sitting a like 30-40 fps with everything maxed out. These games always push the limits.

I bet you around 70% of computers in Canada couldn't play it a max settings. We have 7 computers for personal and work use 2 that were bought less than a month a go and none of them could play it at max setting.

My PC from 2 years ago can run Crysis at 1920x1080 at max settings no problem.. and it wasn't THAT expensive.
