guess its because its almost hump day! so i guess they want the day to go by faster.. so they set up road blocks and give away VI's..? :haha:

daytime road block is a such common thing in richmond, they always have one near aberdeen around hazelbridge and cambie, and not surprisingly, they only stop modded cars

pretty much a road block to catch ricers instead of drunk drivers

only in gay richmond

where modded cars are more dangerous than > killers, drunk drivers, speeders, and thives

well apparently oversized GT wings are sharp, dangerous, and could apparently be-head someone.

same goes for those tow hooks. those tow hooks do make great cup holders though.

roadblocks in broad daylight in richmond isnt "common" persay but maybe once or twice a month.

then theres this one cop that camps on no3 rd alone at least once a week outside of boston pizza during rush hour to catch cellphones/seatbelts/rice

Why? I've driven that cop a million times without any problems. Its not like hes hidden or anything.

And to the other guy saying that daytime roadblocks are common, you're full of it. I lived and worked in Richmond for a while and I've never seen it. There's that one at night at the Husky but thats only like once ortwice a month.

errrmmm ^ it happens 1/2 a month...

once got stopped for having no N sign up right by No3 road across from blenz.

and saw another one there a few weeks later.

not really a roadblock but a cop with his car pulled in the side street and he is standing at the intersection of the small street and No3 road just checking shit out

richmond roadblocks are relatively common... i wouldn't say they're there every single week but more common than anywhere else in greater van

plus they like to roadblock the busiest streets like hazelbridge n #3

Probably checking for tinted windows too.

I've heard stuff about canards being sharp and possibly cutting someone. However, my wing is no where near sharp... the pieces all have a thick, rounded edge.
I hope the popo won't pull that shit on me.

becareful of the 711 and the chevron on no.3 and blundell...they were there two days in a row last week when it was really sunny..they hide behind the big trees and bushes to catch people talking on the phones and speeding, saw them pull a couple cars over into 711 and chevron

i heard from someone that you could get VI'ed for oversized wings, cf, fiberglass, shitty, awesome or not.

i think i read it on the police forum on rs.

You know what you do to the car is illegal yet ppl bitch about it. Sure the rules might suck, but they're there. Nothing you can do about it. It's like drug dealers bitching about getting busted and going to jail.

Bitching about cops and calling them names sure as hell ain't gonna make them stop. Just remember....those "pigs" are the people you will be calling when your heaty car gets stolen, or if you get kidnapped, or robbed at gunpoint, or raped by a black guy named Bubba.

Although I love modding cars, we all know the consequences of it.

You know what you do to the car is illegal yet ppl bitch about it.

What's worse is, they come in here first, and either ask about what's legal, or brag about their yet-to-be-done mods... then when they're TOLD that what they're planning is illegal, decide to go ahead and do it anyway and bitch out the people telling them.

You can tell them the potential consequences and costs (VIs, VTs, towing, inspections, repairs), and they go ahead and do it anyway, stating "those are the costs of being cool" or justifying it with "my buddy/cousin/grandfather drove with his car like that for 80 years and never got caught!", and telling you to mind your own business...

And then they do get busted, and come in here bitching about how unfair the pigs are and why don't they go looking for REAL criminals like people letting their dogs crap on the sidewalk, and so on.

So much fail.
