For all AD fans, there is a new series coming out by Mitch Hurwitz starring Will Arnett and more of the AD cast. I just finished working on the pilot 2 weeks ago and I heard it got picked up. The show is called 'Wilde Kingdom' and stars Will Arnett and Keri Russell. David Cross is supposed to be in it but he was caught in the volcano delays, so he'll be in later episodes.

The pilot did get picked up, but the show got renamed to "Running Wilde" and will air on Tuesday nights on Fox in the fall.
I always get a kick out of Jason Bateman's career revival. I used to watch him on The Hogan Family and then I didn't see much of him for more than a decade.

I suspect that he must've worked on the post or VFX if he just finished working on it 2 weeks ago as filming wrapped awhile ago. "Arrested Development" was not shot in Vancouver, the pilot for "Running Wilde" aka "Wilde Kingdom" was shot in Vancouver but the series will not be. The series will be filming in New York as the producers couldn't find enough luxury affluent outrageous locations in Vancouver to shoot an entire series. Just as well, as there isn't much available studio space in Vancouver for the coming fall, we had a hell of a time finding suitable studio space for "Hellcats".

I meant about 2 months, not 2 weeks...yes like he said the pilot was shot here. A whole bunch of shows are starting up next month as to take advantage of the HST, since they can claim another 7% in tax refunds.
I hadn't heard that they for sure won't shoot the show here. I knew there were problems because Will wanted to be closer to his family in LA. The locations we were at were pretty affluent, some mansions down in Southlands. But I'm not sure what they had in store for the next episodes so that could be true.
What do you do on Hellcats, 7seven? I'm working on Facing Kate.

It's confirmed that Running Wilde will not shoot in Vancouver, the producers plan on going really extravagant with the locations and Vancouver locations and mansions just doesn't compare to the ones in NY or LA. From what I understand, you guys had to shoot in 2 seperate mansions here to get the look of 1 supermansion the producers wanted for the pilot.
I handle logistics & private security for actors. So I'll be on Hellcats, Smallville, Red Riding Hood and possibly Supernatural in about 2 weeks when they all startup as my clients are actors/actresses on those shows/films. Facing Kate huh, you guys started production pretty early, aren't you guys already into your first few days of principle shooting?
