Perhaps this is a repost, perhaps not... The Heart Attack Grill in Phoenix.

Anyone actually eaten here before? I'll be Phoenix later in the summer and plan on possibly stopping in at this place.

Any thoughts on this place? I gotta say, clever idea for a restaurant! I have no doubt this place is probably rather quite successful.

Some member posted about his experience in the Double Down thread, but I think it probably warrants its own thread here in the Food forum.

I don't think anyone can sue this place since they specifically claim it's bad for your health.

This must be Skinnypupp's dream restaurant.. Fries fried in lard!!

Fries fried in lard!!

All fries are fried in lard. Or at least they were, before morons were convinced that it was unhealthy. So many restaurants replaced it with hydrogenated vegetable oil. Only to find out that it is even MORE unhealthy. So many have switched back to lard or tallow.

when i was in PHX golfing we actually saw this on some food network show, we were gonna check it out but settled for In-N-Out and a bunch of other very unhealthy fast food/mexican places lol
