I don't know how you fwd guys do it.
I took my truck in for a couple recalls and they gave me this rental pos and I can't believe that 100hp thing had such bad torque steer. Felt like it wanted to rip the steering wheel right out of my hands.
Anyways, just thought I would let you in on my thoughts.
I'll stick with my rwd...

If you were driving a Mazdaspeed3 you would probably be twisted into a pretzel right now, haha.

Hahahah.
Well, only other fwd i've driven was my parents van some time ago. And never pushed that so I guess this would be the first time i've "experienced" any form of torque steer.

Try driving a DD FWD car with 300hp and 350+lb/tq and then complain to me about torque steer. :lol

When i push my TL I have learnt that it is necessary to push the steering wheel to the left

new cars with EPS keeps the feedback to the minimum so it SHOULD feel less tq steery lol.
But it's physics you can't fix that.

Locking diff helps a bit... even those Phantom Grip inserts are better than nothing.

But instead of torque steer, you now get to experience the poor man's version of an LSD in the form of a squirming steering wheel as the ABS kicks in on one side to prevent the tire from spinning.
I hate (cheaply designed) electronic diff's so much...

You guys are funny, as I'd like to see you deal with this beast:
1966 Oldsmobile Toronado:

425 Rocket V8 @ roughly 385hp. Oh yeah, it's front wheel drive.

haha sorry Gab but I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree.
I honestly don't understand why torque steer is so widely talked about in the media and among enthusiasts. Unless you're a scrawny ass asian kid (and even then) it should be nothing to you to hold the wheel straight. I think if there are complaints to be made about FWD platforms, torque steer should really be about last on that list.

When I had my jetta, (over 350hp) I had little to no problems with torque steer... had LSD and basically sold mounts... even with that the electro mechanical steering also did an amazing job keeping torque steer away as well!
