Hey y'all,
anybody know why Ellie Tropical Cuisine at 3779 Sexsmith Rd, Richmond, BC closed down? That place was soooooo dericious and priced decently :p
Now I need a place that serves good laksa and hainam chicken in GVRD. Don't say Tropica and Banana Leaf b/c those places are overrated.

Are the yellow noodles supposed to be super soft? It seemed like it was over cooked which kinda ruined the dish for me.

I was wondering myself there was this tofu they had that was off the hook. There could have been many reasons though from owners being in debt to owner retiring. Who knows?

not sure, when I had it it wasn't super soft. Also laksa is not my fav thing, so I don't quite know which one is supposed to be good.

It wasn't agedashi tofu. I don't remember what the actual name was but I haven't yet seen a place served that exact tofu dish so far.

Hawkers delight has good curry chicken on rice.

Another good place is Prata Man on Garden City.
Their Hainanese chicken is pretty good as well as their curry beef on rice.
