just reformatted my Dell Dimension E521, it has SigmaTel C-Major Audio in it (integrated). prior to the reformat there was the little logo on the tray that allowed me to access the mixer and control everything, however now it's missing and I can't see controls for/hear anything from the line-in jack, which I need (yes I reinstalled the driver from the Dell site). The file that is supposed to be the tray icon is enabled in my startup, but doesn't show at all.

I haven't been able to find anything from google, or any kind of a site for SigmaTel. Halp?

Line in records audio to your computer. Line out sends out out to your speakers.

yes I know, I need it for my TV tuner, so that the audio gets passed through to the speakers.
