I've searched but found nothing conclusive. I've gone to a few fabric shops in town and none of them seem to have the automotive grade stuff I'm looking for. I'm looking to re-wrap some trim pieces in my car. I really want to touch and feel the material before purchase. The ebay ones look kind of sketchy. Does anyone know where I can buy some locally? I don't need a lot, maybe 1m by 1m.

alcantara is FRICKEN hard to find, without really ripping up old seats or something.

I had my doors done from their original leather inserts to the same "recaro-like" fabric that's in the DC5-R.

unfortunately, the seller doesn't just sell the fabric, but if you go on your car specific forums, i'm sure someone out there has to be selling templates.
