Yep. It's all about the lighting, especially with shitty cameras. While the images are good, there is a lot of noticeable noise.

can't u do this with any camera phone .. or any camera...

Doing a video with an iPhone gets you much more attention than saying "photoshoot with motorola razr" or some other phone with a camera. But yea, you COULD do it with any phone with a camera.

Did you guys see that video of the iphone4 filming side by side with a canon 7D? Its pretty good HD quality, but by no means a replacement for cameras.

I wouldn't say it's $5000 but THANK YOU!.. he was saying how people should stop complaining about not having all the equipment when this guy is using a whole lot of nice lighting gear!! He also got a pro retoucher to fake it some more.

lol that large softbox cost more than most ppl's DSLRs, and all he says is "i got these 2 $50 hot lights from home depot" lol

Thats actually a pretty ignorant thing to say. A lot of phone functions have eliminated the need to carry many other items with you.
