I just downloaded the beta 4.0 and thought i'd share with the rest of RS; so far so good, HD video stream with less resource hog and the layout is more like chrome. give it a try

4.0 is much more aesthetically appealing, can't say much about speed difference yet, just used it for a little bit so far.

Chrome is my standard browser and Firefox is strictly for porn, lets just say I'm very satisfied at the moment.

Dunno if I did it wrong but I installed it and it auto launched at the end of install, opens up my 3.xx FF. So then I closed that and opened up via the icon that says 4.0 beta, and it opens up my 3.xx FF again. Hmm?
I saw this thread and downloaded/installed it

Dunno how speed is but it looks a bit more appealing.

Just came across something I don't like.
When you have a window open with multiple tabs, it appears on the task bar like if you had multiple windows running. Whereas in 3.xx if you had 1 window open with multiple tabs, it would only show as 1 "box" on your task bar.

actually i find this multiple preview boxes for the tabs in the new version better, i like how it lets me choose which tab i want to open if i wanted to before actually opening the full window

I don't like it. For example, when I visit forums like RS, I press the New Posts button and then go through the 5 pages of new posts and open threads, that I would like to look into further, in new tabs(Ctrl+T). But now when I do this, it treats them like windows on the taskbar.

finding it to be just as fast as chrome, much more appealing as well
