Regular folks, like us, wear plain-old, recycled 3-D glasses when we're at the movies. But when you're the Queen of England, not just any 3-D spectacles will do. That's why, according to the Guardian, the Queen wore customized 3-D glasses (adorned with Swarovski crystals forming the letter Q) during a recent visit to Pinewood Toronto Studios in Canada. Elizabeth II's extravagant eyewear was designed by her dresser and personal assistant, Angela Kelly, who might have the most ridiculous job in the world. During her stay, the 84-year-old Queen watched a 3-D film shoot of a Bhangra dance troupe, and, then, enjoyed a private playback of the 3-D footage. By sporting some blingin' 3-D shades, the Queen just endeared herself to both rappers and nerds in one fell swoop. Respect, son. [From: Guardian, via: Engadget]
