I think whoever was in charge of this campaign has down really well, they've kept a good thing going and responded to a lot of people's comments (literally). Not only that, but they've really got Old Spice out there in front of people. Kudos to the agency charge.

I hadn't used Old Spice since Red Zone came out. Since that stuff seems to melt my skin (apparently its made of compressed Drain-O crystals) I've been working my way through the Axe circuit. Since I was tired of smelling like 14 year old boy (Yes, I know what 14 year old boy smells like... I've been to bcrdukes' house. The scent seems to linger there) I picked up a stick of Old Spice Fiji.

It was actually pretty good. It wasn't perfumey and overpowering. When that stick was done I tried the Cyprus scent. Not as good but better than Axe Phoenix or Fury or Snausages or whatever their new scent of the week is.

Next up, I'll try Denali.


Its too bad that anybody buying this stuff will be accused of being a victim of viral advertising because its actually pretty good stuff.


Also, the Old Spice classic aftershave may make you smell like grandpa.. but it does smell pretty good too

...The team worked for 11 hours yesterday to make 87 short videos, that's just over 7 minutes per video, not accounting for any breaks taken. Then they woke up this morning and they are still making more videos right now....
