my friend who works at a decent(not as good as ebisu) sushi joint as a waiter makes 40-80 $ish a night. i forget if this is just 1 shit(5hour ish) or 2. but still lotsa money.

dude 3000 bucks a month is only 36000 dollars a year. That's like what an average person makes. A waitress sounds like a pretty average job to me.

Yes it obviously includes tip, which of course is never reported, therefore tax "free" haha.

I know a few people who work at very high end resteraunts in yale town and such. If two people on average ring up a $200+ bill you're looking at a bare min of $20/table a night in tips. Think about that. You do just 20 couples a night and you're lookng at bringing home $400/night just on tips (Though often half goes to the back of the house workers).

The lady friend used to work at Boston Pizza as a waitress, and pulled in on average $30/hour on nights with an event going on, such as a hockey game. And around $23-$25/hour normally.

Cactus and the keg would be mediocore.

Waitering at restaurants like the Tea house, Cin cin, etc would need tons of experience. Base is about 15 an hour, however tips is another 15 to 30 an hour not including wine.

$4000 a month would be the norm of what waiter & waitresses make in a nicer restaurant.
