The reason a 1200kg car with 800hp doesnt brake and turn the same way as a 600kg car with 400hp is common sense... neither have anything to do with power to weight. If you have to stop two cars going the same speed but one weighs twice as much, clearly it is MUCH harder to stop it. The same principal is true of handling, ie it is harder to change the direction of something that is twice as heavy.

There are also HUGE aero advantages to a sports racer style vehicle like that one over a traditional car.
