With something like YouTube, you can really see talent start flowing from everywhere from anyone.

She does have a very good voice, but its not UNIQUE, there's nothing to that voice that can be marketed on, unless she can musically set herself apart from all the other talented female singers out there.

For example, Lady GaGa has a strong voice, but very similar to other commercial singers out there, hence her style has to be 'unique' to set herself apart to become successful.

Aside from those, she does have a very nice voice.

Based on this cover alone, ofcourse not. But maybe her whole body of work and some orginal material if it's good. It's not a matter of talent, it depends if people think they can make money selling her. tbh from this alone, i don't think they would. Doesn't mean she still can't make money doing what she's doing.

TALENT alone doesn't get you a record deal, it gets u a spot as a backup singer.

to become marketable one needs a whole package.

thats the dumbest question I've ever heard. Of course I would buy her cd to support her. I would probably buy 50 copies and then hand them out to my friends and then it would get her name more recognized.

Personally, I wouldn't. Yes, she has a good voice, but it sounds generic. And since these days it seems record deals are only going to people the PR dept can market i.e. is "hot" or has fame outside of music, regardless of voice (look at Ke$ha), or people with a really unique sound, the only deal she'll get is as a studio or touring backup singer.
