Howard.
^dunno a specific person..but just don't go to richmond subaru...all the sales ppl there are pricks...
i find don docksteader much easier to deal with..they're more willing to negotiate
and wolfe has been posting on cl about cancelled fleet deals on some models and saying there's big discounts..but I dunno how credible it is

When I bought my Impreza, Dusty Chang at Don Docksteader helped me out. Nice guy to deal with. Think he's an assistant manager too.

Nobody's gonna give free deals just because you want to buy a car.
Just wear a nice suit to give a good impression on the salepersons and tell them you are looking at buying one of their cars. If you have a trade in then you will have more leverage to bargain with them.

actually they will make more money from your trade in because they (stealership, not the salesman) will give you bullshit price/

heres a few salesmen that u wont regret dealing with:
Dusty Chang from Don Docksteader
Terry Ng from Don Docksteader
Geremy from the north shore
i personally dealt with dusty and terry, (not sure if terry still works there), great guys to talk to and easy going.
as for Geremy, it seems like hes the recommended guy to go to from all the non asians that bought subarus.

I've dealt with terry Ng and he's pretty helpful, his chinese is not so good though if I remember correctly, a lot of direct translations from english to chinese,

May I ask do local subaru dealers know all the pricings and specs for the 2011 WRX/STI yet?
If not, are they accepting your order without telling you the price of the vehicle?

I always seem to get a pretty good greeting from Richmond Subaru whenever I go in for service or just to browse and look at the Sti before I got my used one.
Back when they didn't really allow testing of the STI, one of the sales offered a long test drive to iona beach. This was when the 2005 version came out, I don't know how it is now with different management.

I dont know any sales people but am wondering what model your looking at? And why you want it over others that are in that class. Reason being I am looking at one for my wife. Cheers

no one is gonna say how much they purchased their car for because no one wants to look like the idiot that paid too much, so don't bother asking for the price on peoples "deals".
