Is there any other local web sites where I can find a person seeking a roommate near SFU? such as chinese forum...

The title isn't clear, it sounds like he just needs a room in university. To make it more clear, OP should have typed UniverCity. :teach:

He does not mention about restricting his search to UniverCity, yet he asks if there are any places near SFU afterwards.

^ SFU campus is called UniverCity. He's looking to rent a place near there.

Look for rentals in the Lougheed Mall area, there's tons of basement suits and apartment rentals. They make you take a UPass with your tuition and it's only a 5 minute bus ride from that area, the bus running every 5 minutes at peek hours and about every 20 - 30 min in off peek hours.
