: jailbreaking iPad

before i go ahead and do this, maybe there's a few of you out there that have done this already. just looking for a few tips and tricks i should be aware of, so if you have any, fire away.

Use Spirit and make sure you don't have iTunes 9.2 installed.

Hope it doesn't come with the latest firmware. Those are not currently jailbreakable. Although you should be ok since that update only came out recently. If that's the case do not update your firmware if prompted.

Just know that if your ipad loses its ability to not overcharge the battery, and burns itself and your hand in the process, Apple won't cover its warranty (http://www.techreport.com/discussions.x/19286)... Regardless of whether it was actually caused by jailbreaking.

Well he should have unjailbroken his ipad before taking it into waranty in the first place.

I've been out of Apple's product and jailbreaking for about 2 years. Can someone tell me quickly what can be found in Cydia and if Sprint is the easiest jailbreak program?

Jailbreaking is legal now haha. Spirit is the easiest one I've used.

Andrew, u have to stop buying all the toys like this. :D Sony VAIO P, the small little 6 hours netbook u have and now u also have iPad? :drool

any more reading on the jailbreaking is legal now?
