i got involve in an accident 24July 2010 (saturday) around 6:30pm at 49th and Tyne. I need a witness for that accident. If you were there, could you be my witness of the accident and contact me through inbox ( i do not want to get into a fight with whoever defending whom, so if you are a witness you saw how the accident happened, you would know the truth and i need your word, thanks) . i am sorry guys... that guy ran through the red light and he claimed it was a green. and he hold on to the only witness contact info not giving it to icbc (i am so stupid i didnt take the witness info myself) so im hoping to find another witness.

Ok. Small world. I don't post here much but always lurking.
You hit my brother actually. He did not run a red. It was solid green. You turned left onto Tyne and were blinded by the van that was turning left infront opposite you. instead of being safe and waiting to make sure there were no cars coming (that you could not c) you gambled and went, hittin my brother.
Any witness that was there will say the same thing. And yes he got the witness info and passed it on to icbc.

He was actually very very upset, especially since he just got The amg kit put on and a fresh paintjob, and hates retard drivers as we all do that make our roads unsate. But he felt very bad for you anet, since u were freaking out and sat down in the middle of the road and started crying about how you don't know what to do and are a foreign student and offered to pay for the damage privately. So he decided not to lose it on you. Anyways. That's what insurance is for and will b a good lesson for you to learn how to drive.
Btw, pretty pathetic and useless coming on here and sayin "he ran a red light" hoping to get "witnesses". I'm just glad you didn't severely injure him.

It's a 1999 c class, but he put serious love into it. 18" amg rims, full amg bodykit, new paint (that pearly metallic blue that Benz has) and just got the tranny rebuilt. Solid car, cheap on gas, and looked smoooth considering it was a 11 y.o. Car.

1st off, i ain't trying hard to "defend" him. A comment was posed by hchang and i simply replied to it. Nor he or I need to be defensive per se.

2nd, yes anyone can make a mistake, thats why they call them "accidents". Thats why he kept relatively calm upon being struck, plus he was trying to get the op to get her car off the middle of the road and move it to the side (as it was drivable) so not to cause a friggin traffic jam unnecessarily.
But, to quote my bro, she "just did the nammer squat and sat there in the middle of the road like a retard". So ya, possibly related to the reason why she did not think to get witness info, 1 - cuz she was thinking bout how her folks/bf/whomever gonna react and 2 - because getting any witness info at the scene would not have been very beneficial for her.

Of course there are 2 sides to every story, ironically we stumbled across such a situation. The only reason the OP is not here to defend herself is because this thread absolutely blew up in her face. She is fully aware of this thread considering she created it but chose not to defend herself. That, in itself, tells me she's full of shit.

Additionally, OP is well aware that there was (atleast) 1 witness to the accident. Therefore it must be a legitimate witness not a buddy or relative of the other party.
