Many years ago, I drove the Duffy lake road by accident (got lost ended up there) and it was beautiful and it was freshly paved. Wanting to go back this summer, I did a bit of searching only to find that someone (2 years ago) said the road was crap now; surface breaking up, frost-heaves, etc.

I'm hoping that in the last 2 years the road got re-paved. Anybody do a run recently can can give a fresh report on road conditions?

Haha yeah I can confirm that the road was complete shit a while ago. Two of my buddies bent suspension components driving through there, pretty bad.

Whoa. I take that back. About 1/2 way into the video at 1:50, the road new road turns back to crap.
