game just released. im considering picking it up.
im just on the fence of what system to play it on... i'm not sure which player base would be bigger: pc, xbox or ps3. i'm assuming pc, but reviews say pc controls suck and reading about the game it's meant for consoles.
reviews about the game play sound good. however the missions/quests suck shit.
pvp in this game is more of an acquired taste. its pretty different from CO, CoH, and WoW.

Got my friends 10 day buddy pass on the pc. Going to try this out soon. I saw my friend playing a flying character, the controls do look awkward, I can see it being so much better using the analog controls on the ps3.

Sony seriously needs to fix their shit.
Purchased this game through steam. Took around 2 hours to download and update. Installation process and stuff went through smooth, however the game client and servers are garbage at the moment. I'm not sure if it's cause of the amount of people who recently purchased their game, or if Sony wasn't expecting it or whatever.
Essentially a ton of people are running into the same issue as I am.
Launcher window appears, checks for updates, hit the "play game" button then the client crashes, window closes and nothing happens. I checked the forums and liked I mentioned above, a lot of other people are experiencing the same problem. People are brainstormed of theories and solutions to how to fix it or whats up with Sony, but long story short is, there's no fix to this at the moment, it's all on Sony's end.

I'd advise others who are considering purchasing it, to wait a while before getting it.

Also - Has anyone ever got a refund through steam or know the process of how to get a refund through steam? If this shit doesn't get fixed soon, i'll probably get a refund, I shouldn't have to wait so long after purchasing something to use it. On top of that, the subscription time that you get is being wasted.

For those of you who have the game, what do you guys think of it so far? I read the features of the game and what I noticed was that, the amount of choices you get for "powers" of your hero/villain are extremely limited. You can only choose from "fire, ice, mental, gadget, nature and sorcery". This leaves me wondering....wtf happened to super strength, speed and all that jazz?

everybody has super strength, speed u can pick that while making your char. more powers will be coming.

everyone gets super strenght and for your travel you can chose to fly, super speed and some other type. Within each power there are 2 specs for it. Also your weapon choice will have additional move only to that weapon.

^^ You can play and go to school. I work full time and go to night class and still play.

To reach max level in this game is pretty easy and there are daily instance where you can solo for the points for armor and weapon or you can do a raid or instance with other ppl randomly.

It is a lot better than WoW since there is so much you can customize not to mention people seem nicer.

Currently lvl 26 nature plant and shapeshift and heals. Not bad lol. I also took bear form and I must say bear form destroy everything! On boss fight I just just on smashing lol. If I need heal I just use bloomsom to get some hots up. With bow it is so easy to get hit counter up.

I try hand blast before but is just not as easy as bow. Dual pistol seems ok but is just weird seeing a healer usign guns lol. Some people suggested using a refile but I don't know some of the combos you need to do seems pretty hard on PC with a keyboard.

I might try martial arts after. So far this game is good I say 8/10.

1 point off for their poor chat system. The commands sucks and is hard to actually communicate since you have to open the chat menu which blocks your whole screen. Also the Alerts needs more define role like WoW. Too many times I been in alerts where everyone is assign as a dps and there are not contorller or heals(I usualy que as dps and heals). So what end up happening during boss fight Me the healer end up going into bear form and tanking the boss and healing myself which is dumb. Also, no one seems to wait for other people in alerts. This could be due to poor communication system and everyone have different movement style so those that can fly usually is way ahead and doesn't wait for anyone at all.

I think if they put alerts something like WoW where it shows you who is assign as heals, tanks and controller it will be great and also have a kick option. Too many times people who que and tanks or controller refuse to do that which I mean is fine so far in regular but I think in heroic it will be pretty bad.

I also notice that people are generally more helpful in this game. The wanted quest is fun as well where people go kill some really elite guys either in a group or just everyone enage it and try to kill it.

I like how you can customize your character a lot. Is like if you have an upgrade but it looks ugly, you can lock it and war the new item but it will have the look of the old itme. You can also change the color of your armor, skin, eyes, and make up anytime you like. Also you can even change your hairstyle coins.

This is set on the future where brainiac has dominated most of the superheroes and has taken over the world. Lex Luthor devised a plan to go back in time just right when brainiac is attacking to help the justice league and the world. When he goes back through time, he brings with him the exobytes (which gives anyone superpowers) and the plan is to get as much superpowered ppl to help out in the battle for brainiac and also where the whole DC universe online game begins. Those exobytes are how you and everyone else create a new superhero or villian. Although i think luther has other plans for them as well. I think he wants to create his own army of superpowered soldiers and as well make himself stronger.

playing on PC now. Dou seems ok but Alerts are bugged right now. 90% I get into an alaerts that's empty or 8% the group fails coz someone que as tank refuse to tank or they don't have the gear for it so we end up wiping. about 2% of the time it was a successful run.

Nature haling is beast atm. Leveling a socery healer now. They aren't too bad but I hate how the summon pet heals random ppl and it never follows me around. Soul well right now is healing for way too little to make use. Maybe destiny is better at lower levels not sure yet.

I myself like Wonder Girl suit the best. I really don't like the Superman suit at all. It looks too plan and mot much though into it, same with Lex's suit.
