DUDE FUCK YEAH
I've already heard about it but GOOD TO HEAR.
I still remember waiting since 2000 for the first fast and furious to be released when it finally hit theaters summer 2001.
Lots of people bash it and say stop making it, but hey what other car movies are there with people as awesome Paul Walker and Vin Diesel?

Dom: Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.
Dom: I live my life a quarter mile at a time. Nothing else matters: not the mortgage, not the store, not my team and all their bullshit. For those ten seconds or less, I'm free.
Johnny Tran: [about Jesse who is driving away] Where's he going?
Dom: He went to the car wash
Johnny Tran: Whatever. Go fetch my car!
Dom: Go fetch your car? We're not on your block any more. You better watch who you talk to like that.
Johnny Tran: [Dom walks away] TORETTO! TORETTO! SWAT came into my house, disrespected my whole family because somebody narc'd me out! And you know what? IT WAS YOU!
[Dom punches Tran and a brawl ensues]
Dom: *I never narc'd on nobody! I never narc'd on nobody!*
Edwin: It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car
[Monica runs Edwin's hand over her breast before the race]
Monica: Feel that? This is yours, even if you lose. But if you win, you get her too.
[Edwin races and loses]
Edwin: Hey, hey, Monica!
Monica: What's your problem, nigga? You didn't win!
[Crowd disses Edwin]
Edwin: Fuck you, then!
Jesse: [about the Supra] You know what? This will decimate all... after we put about fifteen grand or more under the hood. If we have to, overnight some parts from Japan.
Brian: What's the retail on one of those?
Ferrari Driver: More than you can afford pal. Ferrari.
Dom: [turning to Brian] Smoke him

Wait, did I read right? Dwayne Johnson, as in The Rock?!
That should be interesting... if you SMEEeeEEeeEEeeLL what The ROCK... is cooking.
Hmm... Han is in the movie? Now where exactly would the timeline for the plot fit in? Obviously it would have to be before Tokyo Drift...

movies 1 and 3 were far better than the 2 and 4. hopefully this means the 5th will be one of the better ones. the even numbered movies dealt primarily with stupid plots to go undercover as drivers for hire for a big crime boss. This, to me, is far more lame and unbelievable than the odd numbered movies which dealt more with underground racing and the car scene.

+1 for THE ROCK, man that guy was my favorite WWF star back in the day.
Also I think it'd have to be right before FnF4 because near the beginning, Han leaves Dom to head over to Japan (If I remember correctly)

No, that's impossible because in the 4th film, Brian and Dom haven't spoken for awhile so we're to assume they haven't spoken between the time Han leaves for Japan and when they meet up again in America.
Seriously, if they say Han survived the crash...then this is all going downhill. I don't know how the fuck they're going to explain any of this.

hmm, it might be a prequel
Good news for fans of the ever popular Fast & the Furious franchise. They’re making a fifth instalment of the movie that features fast cars and the glitz of the underground racing scene. The movie is reportedly being shot in Puerto Rico and Brazil and may be called ‘Fast Five.’
Returning for the shoot will be the usual bunch of racer boys including Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Tyrese, Sung Kang (Han) as well as the introduction of Dwayne Johnson (The Rock). For some reason in my mind, I have a feeling Dwayne Johnson will be playing either a baddie in the form of a lawmaker or a ‘pimp-like’ good guy. Also judging by the line-up, the movie will be a prequel to Tokyo Drift but definitely a sequel to Fast and Furious (4th one) as there is no mention of Michelle Rodriguez.
The franchise is a successful one as you can tell, but obviously not for its engaging dialogue or award-winning acting. It was all about fast cars and even faster women. Up till now there have been an exotic variety of cars featured within all four movies, and we would be hard pressed to select the best, thus I’ll mention a few that stood out in my mind.
First and in no particular order, would be the Dodge Charger seen in the first film, that came to its demise at the end of the first film. Next up is a firm favourite among tuners, which was the Nissan Skyline GT-R a vast in most of the four films. Let us not also forget the beautifully kitted out Mazda RX-7 of Han in the movie Tokyo Drift. Han goes up in a ball of smoke along with his beautiful car.
Other noteworthy cars include the Toyota Supra Turbo which Paul Walker’s character used in most of the first film and the Mitsubishi Eclipse which had a good dose of Nox when and where it was needed. Last but not least was in the Tokyo Drift film, a perfect fusion of east meets west in the form of a 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback with an twin turbo straight six engine from a Nissan Skyline.
Where would you say each car comes if put in a list graded in terms of desirability? Do you think there are other cars that are worth mentioning? Have your say.

It's most likely going to be a prequel. Many people had rumors going around the 4th one was actually gonna be a prequel with Han in it, when the 4th one was first announced.

Yep, it has to happen after the 4th film but before the 3rd for obvious reasons. It can't happen prior to the timeline of the 4th.
sounds like it's gonna be after the 4th, and before tokyo drift
so chronologically, it would be FnF 1, 2, 4, 5, 3...?
*edit: ronin posted the same thing, my bad

You're right, so maybe after 4 Hon doesn't stay in Japan, goes back to help Dom and Brian. Then after helping them in 5 he goes back to Japan and 3 happens.
So It should be 1, 2, 4, 5, 3.

Or maybe the whole thing gets a Christopher Nolan reboot and we discover that time has been moving backwards and 3 was actually first in the timeline. Han dies and joins Toretto and Brian, who we discover have been dead the whole time. Whoooooaaa...
It would cast a retroactive dark light on the whole series. Critics everywhere would explode.
