so the new sti sedan is actually out in japan, and personally, i think the front end is pretty nice, but the rear is pretty shit, looks like a kia.
but im sure sooner or later i'll start liking it just like how i hated the sti hatches when it first came out.

unlike the previous gen STIs where the car was built AS AN STI and then stripped down for the lesser models, this new one looks like plain shit - the wing looks like Subaru just went :troll: and slapped on a ricer-ebay wing. The whole damn thing looks riced. Hell if it wasn't for the STI badge and the Turbocharger it would be rice!

In other words:
Build a STI ----> turn it into a family sedan WORKS

Give me a break, that looks more similar than the stupid Corolla and Rio pics posted. The only thing the Corolla has in common is the chrome trunk, and the Rio has the same lights - yet lets look at the M5

How we forget how ugly this car was before. Bug eye headlights, ricer hood scoop, and ricer wing. Even the update with the better headlights was still awkward looking.

The reason they fit the car is cause the old Imprezza was a ugly turd, and slapping on ugly ricer parts make it more comical like a toy car. The new Imprezza is boring compared to it, the hatch looks like a Mazda 3, and the sedan isn't much different than the rest of the econo boxes. Yet that hasn't stopped people from drooling over the hatch, now they'll drool over the sedan.
