I want to use the sb 600 as a remote flash. I was trying to use the commander mode via the stock flash sadly it doesn't work that well (can't always detect the flash)
YongNuo RF-602 will be a good choice. However, the only source where you can get it at a good price is on ebay.
I say cybersyncs is way over kill for amateur photog, i know a lot of people swear by it, and so does the elinchon skyport brand, but the fact that a 1 x transmitter 1 x receiver package cost $150+ is ridiculous if your not using the range.
I've been looking at some new cheapo triggers too and the RF602 seem to be the perfect ones to get. There aren't a lot of negative things said about them.
Some guy on craigslist is selling em for 85. Msgd him and said lowest hed go was 75. Seems pretty good only about $5 more than craigslist and you get em asap. Posted via RS Mobile

I use the RF602 and they work great. also using AAA batteries in the receives is very nice. the CR2 in the transmitter isn't bad either as I'm still using the stock battery it came with since march. I've fired off around 2000+ pops on em and had no issues cept when the battery are getting weak in the receivers. I had some misfires yesterday because one of my transmitters still had the AAA duracell's that came with it. But that was quickly remedied once I put in a fresh pair of ProCells.
just a tip. change their channel from the master and all will be well.
Also if u do buy them on ebay by them from hkyongnuophotoequipment so u get full 1yr replacement warranty. it costs a few dollars more on the price but for the warranty its worth it. I'm goign to be sending them a YN460-II flash which took a heavy beating and had some weird experiences with Eneloops.
