| Holidays
Hey guys, im just curious if anyone knows if Transporation companies are exempt from Provincal stat holidays? (BC Day, Victoria Day etc.) I've been told that Transporation companies only have to follow federal stat holidays (Canada Day, Christmas etc). Can someone confirm this with mabye a link or something? I tried looking but I couldn't really find anything.

It's all good. I don't think it'll kill you to wait an extra day for your Fleshlight

No one who operates in the province is exempt. They can make you work it but they have to pay you time and a half + stat pay or give you a day off in lue of the stat.
It depends on how you're paid as well ie. if you are an hourly employee, salaried or under an averaging agreement. Contract employees are the exception, theoretically they're obligated to take care of those things themselves.
