my buddy and i were told that the casino is more "expensive" on the weekends for example..the min table bets are 20$ instead of 10$. anyone know if this is true or not?
Thanks

table minimums are generally higher when its busier (nights and weekends)
when you go at like.. say 7am.. the limits are lower

Have you ever considered the fact that you're poor because you waste whatever money you have losing it to a casino?

No i am just poor okay lol. Anyways, thats not the point, the point is $5 tables are $5 tables, some people like them more than others. I'm not saying I don't play $10 ones but id rather play a $5 table when i have like $50 in cash on me.

$5 tables usually would have noobs as the anchor that fucks up the game for the rest of the players lol

This reminds me of my trip to vegas. Went to sahara casino just so I can say I played $1 Black jack. That was...not very exciting.
The $20 of 25cent chips (80 chips) on 1 number was fun though.

theres $10 tables on weekends/nights, but fewer
i haven't seen $5 BJ tables in a while tho, think they may have eliminated them all completely

This is not true, riverrock has taken it out for a long time now.
Starlight will always have $5 blackjack but its always full and the pay for blackjack will be $6 if you bet $5
The best casino to play $5 blackjack would be at edgewater because they dont pay you the rigged blackjack payout and they pay you the normal payout.

Its in the corner near the cafe beside the War Table
if that one is closed its at the entrance across from Texas shootout table or beside the $10 PaiGow table.

its usually in the morning and afternoon where they have the cheaper tables.. but maybe its summer so they scrap the $5 tables

They can't change the table to something else unless they change the felt because those odds for $5 blackjack at starlight are on the felt.
in vegas they raise the minimum bets when it's busy or during the weekend as well.
i guess riverrock has adapted?

That's ghey.
Only time I'll play a $5 table is so I can take 2 spots in the middle for more and my GF and cover the anchor (she's not a big gambler).
If they had manual shuffle, I'd be playing a lot more.

Nope they changed it over a year ago.

This is true, and many people play like this making it a lot easier to win because its more affordable. Casino's have found out this thats why they changed it... it makes a major difference because with the normal payouts its every $10 bet blackjack pays $15 rather for the $5 table blackjack only pays $6 instead of $7.5. This makes when dealer open's an ace you will always take even money.
But thats why you head down to Edgewater they still pay fair and pay the same.
Also for the $5 blackjack table you have to either bet $5 or $10 and you have to increase it by $5 everytime so if you play more than minimum which has to be at least $10 you're better off playing a $10 dollar table for better pay where a $10 table you can bet $11 or $12 or anything just over the minimum except for 50 cents. haha

as a dealer, $5 blackjack table is worst game to deal
dealers are just as miserable as losers sitting on the table betting $5/hand till dawn

Depends if the player is playing for fun or not as well! I was at tables people are surrendering all the time WTF? It's five dollars but I did manage to play $5 table and racked up about $400 starting with $20 but i have a weird way of playing I play 5 ladies as well so first 2 hands when I played i already got 19 to one and 9 to one which was pretty damn good

You work at Boulevard?
When it's dead and I'm sitting out at the poker room, I make it fun for the dealers when it's HEADS UP. I'll always play your tips, split 10's on bust cards, play progressive, etc. You know, keep you guys awake, lol.
Dealers are just that - dealers. To this day, people still blame them for making hands. It's always a total facepalm.
