A "senseless" prank early yesterday could cost a Campbell River family $20,000, RCMP say, after two teens propped a garbage can full of water against a home's front door around 12:40 a.m. and then knocked on it. When the home's residents opened the door, 100 litres of water poured inside, spreading to a lower-level living room, onto the dining room's hardwood floors and seeped to the basement. Two males, aged 17 and 18, could face criminal charges."
