So I've been trying to get my rear passenger tire repaired (got a stupid nail stuck in it). I visited Teamwork about 3 times so far in the last week and they were closed. Empty lot, but that green hulk EK is still sitting there rusting.
Anyways I found out today from one of their partners that they are closing down. Anybody know whats up?

They seem a bit shady, but how much does it usually cost? Just to pull and patch?

teamwork i heard good things about and bad things about. If that neighbourhood wasn't so ghetto... i'd go there.
but oh well, probably just too hidden for normal people to stop in...

LOL I think that's how most people know which restaurant that is. That F430 is always parked there.

It was even parked there when it snowed. Overnight too.

I had one of my 215/45/17 patched for $30-35 at Volco. Depends on size though!

Nah, I didn't know they take in food bank donations. But instead, I actually wrote them a letter thanking them again for the excellent service they provided me.

Kevin's business plan for teamworks changed a few years ago as he ventured away from modded cars to a more mom and pop shop. he had a large corner of the market for his korean clientel that needed regular maintenance on their vehicles.
its sad to see them go, but even they arent immune to the changes to our economy.

Sad to hear Teamwork is shutting down, it was definitely one of the main shops back in early 2000s...
I remember Teamwork & Kumho Tires working together and putting up one hell of a show display at Importfest 2004-2005...
The green EK hatch was always my favourite...one of my many competitors as well hahah...good times guys!!
Wish you the best of luck with everything Kev...

The previous owner for my ep3 always took it to team works for maintenance and servicing.
Team works will me missed.
I remember they were making their own decals in their own shop.

as a long time customer, i dont think there is anyone who can match the type of service i was getting.
Sure lot of shops can fix my car, diagnoise problem or order me parts. Its just different when you have to build new relationships with the new mechanics.
Also sometimes i dont get charged for small /quick services that I will have to pay at the other shops .
Can you name some trusty places with reasonable price and work quaility, i need to find a new one (surrey, burnaby, or langley)

good, teamwork sucked. couldnt order the proper lug nuts for a 240sx... ended up crossthreading a couple studs because of their shit..
oh, and took them a couple weeks to get the lugs in stock when they came from a local distributor..

I trust the SpeedSyndicate....aswell as a bunch of other higher end euro owners...their work is fantastic. Turn around time is quick aswell.
