I know there's a couple older threads about this already but I'm not looking for like "Fine-Dining". I'll be there for a couple days. Lunch or Dinner recommendations would be great!
I don't care about a view or high-end either, just some local delicious food, and PLEASE NO CHAIN RESTAURANTS! I don't have a preference for cuisine, but "boring American white food" is low on the priority list. Unless it's beyond awesome.
Any suggestions guys? Anywhere in or around Downtown.
Thanks!

I've always liked the food at Malaysian Satay Hut. Haven't been to their Seattle location, just the one in Bellevue.

I've heard Paseo is really good. I think they were posted in one of the old threads to. I'm gonna go try it the next time I'm down there. TLC just had a show on for best sandwhich in the US and they came in at #2 on the list.

Darn, I just came back from Seattle, and mostly ate at chain restaurants (i.e. Cheesecake Factory)... :(

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I ended up at Serious Pie for dinner. We had the Sweet Fennel & Wild Boar pizzas. I really liked the first one but the 2nd one was just meh. Overall was not bad but not sure if it was worth the $20 each plus the 1 hour line-up!

I can tell you where NOT to try...BOKA Kitchen & Bar. Ended up eating there because it was just downstairs in the hotel I was staying at.
Ordered 2 appetizers, and 2 mains...all cold and salty as fuck. definitely overrated and shitty. Ambiance was okay though.
