According to the article (well, from what my knowledge of the German language can comprehend, at least :lol ) is that the car lost control and ended up about 100m off the road around midnight, tore it into shreds (obviously) and wasn't found until about 7 hours later by a trucker driving through and saw some wreckage near the road. I can't determine if the guy is actually dead or just seriously injured. Obviously speed was a big factor.
