: What to do with broken LCD Monitor?

I have a nice 19" viewsonic lcd monitor that turned bad awhile ago. I replaced it already but I dont know what to do with it... fix it? donate it? sell it? or dump it?

The problem with it is that the screen turns white-blank when you turn it on. It would occasionally work when you play around with the power-on.

Drop it off at an Encorp Recycling depot that takes electronics. LCD monitors are so cheap now that they are not worth fixing.

sounds like bad capacitors perhaps... if I could I'd come snag it :(

Give it away, sell it on CL.

Agreed, it's a waste to just throw this away. I'm sure someone will snap it up on CL.

put it outside for someone to pick it up for free
