Would people here in North America cry police brutality if this happened here? :lol

On a more serious note, a job well done! :)

I dunno where the video is but just recently there was a hostage situation outside a subway station in downtown toronto.

A man with a knife holding it to a random girls throat...the sniper one shot him the head. News cameras caught it.

she was so calm and even had a good chuckle after the shooting. Read from newspaper that its the woman's first time shooting at human. I bet most rookies in NA after a shooting like that would be crying, shaking and have to see the psych shrink for a month and take 3 month paid leave to recover

why dont they just setup a sniper unit instead of doing all this shit..

sniper unit can take him pretty quick coz his head was exposed too frequent..

Here in BC, the hostage taker would probably have a memorial, a FB dedication page and a plethora of friends of a friend saying how such a good guy he is.

Why not? He was down but the video was unclear if he was disarmed.

Apparently sniping in hostage situations can backfire. The reflex of getting shot in the head sometimes causes the arm/hand muscles to like spaz or make like a clenching motion which causes the suspect to either shoot his gun or in this case cut the hostage.

hahahaha, that woman popo got it covered!
China's still super racisit isn't it?

So for them to put a woman in the critical rescue position, she must be very good at what she does.

Pwnd, that guy went down.

I really hate our soft, leftist justice system clouded by special interest groups.

If only somebody would come up with a list where popo can just own the criminals with immunity, then I think we'd start seeing some more results.

I think I kinda catch what you're saying. But then police would abuse their power. There really is no real solution to how a justice system should work. In some countries, they're too easy, in others they're too strict. Where can human draw a line and say that this is how it should done, and who is up to to decide that that IS the line?

1. Racism = discriminating women?

2. Our "leftist" justice system "clouded" by special interest groups? Big fan of Guantanamo?

3. Pure genius! Just have cops "own" "criminals" w/o due process wherever! Shoot on site! It would even eliminate the need for prisons!

The justice system is meant to protect the innocent. Yes, sometimes they can't get the job done and put ciminals behind bars. But it also minimizes the chance that an innocent person get sent to jail wrongly. I'd rather have 1000 guilty not convicted than 1 innocent convicted.

then you will have criminials and thugs roaming the streets freely, and more innocents are hurt.

I would've liked it if the video mentioned at least something about the hostage/
