Shipping to the States, UPS or Fedex

Gotta ship a package roughly 2ft x 2ft and 3ft high to California... should around 100lbs.

some of the local shipping places I know are UPS and Fedex. Last time shipping something around this size was like $90.00 with UPS but that was yearsss ago.

Any idea which one will be better? in terms of price.

Last time I shipped a package from Canada, UPS was cheaper, but that was a long time ago.

Your best bet is to head down to Point Roberts and ship it off from there, UPS Ground will still your cheapest option.

Suggest you get it with tracking and insurance, cause UPS is the crap.
They constantly lose packages, ship it to the wrong location and stuff. Trust me on this. At least you can get your money back if they royally screw up.

Greyhound would definitely be cheaper.

I plugged in your numbers, and FedEx shows $165.71 and UPS shows $198.74

Greyhound depots don't do USA destinations last time I asked.

FedEx Ground is rather reasonable when the item is huge. I used them a lot more than Canada Post once the package is larger than say a stack of 500 Letter Sized paper because the FedEx ground rate is much more favorable to large and light items.
