Which I don't think is right. As far as I know, all new GTRs still come with LC2 (i.e. the second generation of launch control that revs to around 3000 RPM). I think if they had used that, the race with the Turbo S would have been at least respectable, although the Turbo S would undoubtedly have won again.

Thats actually not the case with European cars in general. BMW and VW has had their fair share of reliability issues in the past. Not to mention that most European imports that we see in North America are the top of the line products by their said brand.

Speaking in regards to all European cars I could point out that a lot of American cars achieve the same reliability or better.

It all depends on the company, not where its manufactured.
