I'm going to assume so... :(
It's my brother's car, btw. Just had it repainted last year as well...

The frustrating thing is that's what we did when he first bought the car. Found the car for dirt cheap, did a bunch of body work, replaced the door/hood/front bumper and had it painted. The ironic thing is that the original damage was in the exact same place (rear passenger quarter panel and passenger door).
However, it looks like the portion of the B-pillar that the door latches onto is bent pretty severely.

damn man. wtf happened.
An F350 with a tow hook (or winch, my brother wasn't entirely clear on it) started pulling out of a parking spot as he drove by. Apparently the other driver admitted fault and tried to pay my brother off by first offering him $200 before going up to $1000. I told him he should have taken the $1000 offer and then gone through ICBC and make a claim. :lol

At least when the rear quarter gets replaced, you don't have to worry about the rusted wheel wells :p

write-off for sure
an F350 backed into my old EG and slightly dented the rear quarter panel and pushed in the hatch trunk a little
ICBC didnt do a total write off, but i took the $1300 they offered me and handed over the car to ICBC because it was never going to pass air-care again
that damage is like 200% what mine was, and mine was like $400 away from being a total loss with minor bumps

What is it with F350s? That's what hit me too.
Weather or not it's a write off is up to ICBC. I would suggest he get it assesses by an adjuster. If he's got no fault then he has nothing to loose.

Nah' i can drive one perfectly fine. The problem is people who don`t know how to drive bigger vehicles. If you think thats too big your jaw is going to drop if you ever decide to cross the bridge, lol.
He was probably offering him money because F350 insurance is already epicly high. Nice rims btw.

lol, you parked it at mopac (or it looks like the parking lot at mopac) yes the car looks to be a write off.

My car is the silver Accord coupe beside the Civic. And it's parked at Mopac because that's where my brother works, and that's where the accident happened. ;)

I was joking with my brother that since the Civic is so low, the driver of the F350 probably couldn't see the car while looking over the hood of the truck. :lol

I had very similar damage to my eg (minus the gash) compliments of an F150. Sadly the car was written off.

it actually bottles my mind that car manufacturers dont make it 'easier to replace rear quarter pannels. they are very comon for accidents, but are so dificult to repare. any other part of the car (hood, fenders, bumpers, doors, hatches, trunks, etc) can be unbolted and replaced. the quarters need to be cut and welded and at least 1/3rd of the car needs to be painted.

The only manufacturer that remember having bolt on rear quarters was Saturn and I don't know if they still build them that way. They take about 5 minutes to swap out.
As much as people hate them, they did have some innovative ideas built in.
