Just curious to see if anyone here has worked in by-law enforcement before? Particularly in enforcing parking meters, parking by-laws and complaints partaining to parking by-laws. Any info regarding the topic would be appreciated, first hand or not. TIA!

theres a by-law enforcement course offered by the JIBC. Some cities require that.

I know earlier this summer that the city of Vancouver had a posting on their website looking to hire for parking by-law enforcement.

haha everyone hate meter maid, if you apply for one expect at least 8 months waiting period. The pay is good though, starting at 24.xx i believe. But very unlikely you will even get to the interview phase unless you have some sort of connection! They also prefer women

I know a couple bylaw officers working for Vancouver.
No training or education necessary. They'll train you 100%.
