Got into a small accident the other day but my front bumper is gone.
my question is if you know the body shop guy to an extent, is it possible for me to get a different front bumper instead of OEM since they will be ordering it from OEM distributors and will cost pretty much the same if not cheaper.

If you know the shop then you can try asking them to order different parts.

If it costs more you may need to pay them the difference or they might try to milk it out of ICBC for you.
