As the title states, we are trying to organize a mini cruise tonight, location can be discussed here.

The weatherman says that it's most likely gonna rain for the next couple days, so might as well take one of which might be the very last warm(ish) clear night left from summer to do a cruise!

And I'm assuming most of us should not have work tomorrow due to it being a long weekend! (Yay!)

The meet time we were thinking of was 10 - 10:30 pm either in Richmond/Vancouver/or Burnaby.
And can go till 12:00 - 1:00 depending on when everybody wishes to be home by.

I will be away from the computer starting 6:30 so if you have any questions/comments/concerns about the cruise please feel free to text/call me at 778-688-1201

Yeah so far BBT was suggested.

So I was thinking we meet at a BBT place, if it's open we'll go in, if not we'll start cruising towards a general direction, and stop at any BBT place.

Seriously though, well done guys. Proud to be with a group that cares enough to pull over and help. Some members were attending to the accident victim, while others were directing traffic around the accident and Tofu even hopped into her SUV to move it off the road. Evolutionan rolled up my windows while I was busy to protect my interior from the rain.. this speaks volumes about the character of some of our members. :thumbsup:

suspension is VERY tired illuminas with lowering springs haha.

Pretty fun cruise guys, glad I decided to come out. Long drive back to surrey after all that breakfast, was falling asleep.

Haha, I almost hit these kids too.. They yelled at me but it was a blind corner, at night in heavy rain.. JV6 was right behind me I was worried if I slammed my brakes he or the guys behind him might not have stopped in time

thats what i always wondered too from previous experience from cruising.. what happens when you bump into someone in front of you from your crew accidentally when something like this happens, that must wreck the whole day for everyone there, gotta be careful :rolleyes:

^^ Thats actually what happened many many years ago...

I witnessed some red Civic 99-00 Coupe couldnt stop in time, and smased into another blue Civic's rear...complete BS the whole cruise. They were bitching at each other the whole time. Although they knew each other, it still didnt stop one from hitting the other in the face.

Lesson learned: DRIVE SAFE, ALWAYS KEEP AN EYE ON THE CARS IN FRONT AND REAR. BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS.

Glad nothing bad happened on the cruise.
Jpark: I think I remember cruising with you at the first BBQ meet this year with Jimmy. I was in the Toyota SUV. hehe...

JV6: Sounds fun, definitely get the guys there to do more photoshoot. Hows next weekend lol???

Ya that was pretty intense.. I almost hit the guys in front of me then saw jv6 flying up behind me, I pushed forward as much as I could to give him room to stop.. No RS cars were harmed, so it was a good night!

hells gate was sweet drive.. could have been a better experience if my friends A4 didnt get a blown tire on the highway at 100+km, lucky nothing happened haha, flat beded, people were nice except for one cocky guy keep talkin about his porsche kicking this car and that cars ass when he drives an AT 370z and couldnt keep up with the group.. and acting like an ass to his gf in front of everyone else..

seriously tho.. my setup is pissing me off.. keep slipping here and there.. i gotta say.. no one wanted to follow me because of the way my car behaves in the rain.. it went a bit over the top yesterday..

its cause your suspension is too hard for the street. if the springrate is too high, it can't absorb the uneven surface of our roads, and you'll get some nasty things like bumpsteer. essentially your shocks can't compact enough so instead of absorbing the bump, it skips over it.

i mean, i know it looks good, but super hard spring rates are only good for a track.
