can someone tell me where i can download the alienfx program for the tactx mouse? or does it only work with dell computers? i downloaded a copy off dell and it saids can only be installed on a dell computer and the CD it came with only have the tactx ci software on it. i just wanna change the color on the mouse coz it's kinda annoying

thx i have that software already. it's only for customizing the interface. the program i need is alienfx for changing the lighting

The dell installers can be edited to work on any computer, just fyi.

You sure your CD doesnt come with the FX editor? Got my tactx mouse last month and the CD comes loaded with everything, CI and FX editor.

i dunno i used the installation cd and autorun.. it only gives me the option to install the CI for tactx mouse and tactx keyboard but no option on fx editor

i have this mouse.. you can change the color of the LEDS of the mouse from the software.. i used i once..
the application is called ' Alienware Command Center' and no, it works for any computer.. its just a mouse. and then it just auto runs the editor.. i have my LEDS set the same color as my logitech g15 orange

i see the programs you guys are talking about as an option when i install the cd.. only problem is it doesn't actually install.. i click add to desktop.. doesn't install add to quick bar doesn't install.. searched the hdd.. it's not installed. i'm running windows 7 64bit. is it not supported?

i guess you can delete what you have installed and give this a try...dunno if the fx editor is included.
