Anyone know which butchers have them in vancouver?
Nikuya in Richmond has them (sorry, I know you said Vancouver but wanted to throw one option out there incase no one else replies).

For the non-gastronomically nerdy, Berkshire pork is highly valued because it is super marbled (think Wagyu beef).

Went to Pied-a-terre and they did a phenomenal job.
Never even considered getting my hands on it, just assumed it'd be too pricey.
So if anybody's got a good source, share the wealth!

KUROBUTA. It's just Kurobuta - no need to add the 'pork,' as 'buta' means pork/pig.

Copa Cafe @ Cambie and 23rd supposedly has kurobuta pork chops.
Where's that tonkatsu from?
I try my best to get chicken-katsu instead cause I find most places tend to overcook the pork. But kurobuta would be moist enough to get :drool
