Help! Going away Party Ideas for someone Special
Hey guys,
One of my very, very good friends is moving away and I want to throw her an awesome going away party.
I thought it would be cool if I could edit everyones picture/face into one of those artifical backgrounds. I have no idea what they are called officially, but you know the ones where you put your face into the fake body/scenery?
Does anyone know where I can find one of Vancouver landmarks? thought it would be cool to have pis of her friends to remember Vancouver.
Otherwise, I would be down with a big Poster of Vancouver and I would ghetto glue the pics on the poster.
Secondly, I was thinking of having Vancouver specific foods that it would be hard to grab in Australia. So, sushi etc..
I have no idea, so would appreciate any help. Time to use my 'thanks' button!

you're asking rs?
half the replies will be "pics please"
a quarter will be lol replies such as strip clubs, sex with her friends, etc.
and the last quater will be legit replies
Yeah I know, I didn't post just in this forum. The other forums are all training/football so this was the best option. Go figure. Getting pretty desperate

Use Photoshop for that. Another Idea is to make a large collage in Photo shop with pictures of all her friends and get it printed and framed. Leave a white boarder so people can sign it.

Trust me, there are tons of sushi places in Australia and from my personal experiences in Sydney at least, many which are close to on par with Vancouver for quality. It's a good idea in principle, but in reality I think you'd be far pressed to find a food staple in Vancouver that you couldn't get in most westernized large cities around the world.

Really? I just took some friends out for sushi here and they thought it was the best they ever had. Some were from Australia, Toronto and Ottawa. Went to Sushi Hachi for comparisons sake.
I like the collage idea but since I suck balls at photoshop it will look pretty amateur.

hmm, hard to finds something Australia and Canada that aren't similiar. Vancouver wise anyways, the outdoors/mountain/water.
Only thing they don't really have extensively is mountain. So have dinner on Grouse??
Any more sensitive guy around? hahaha, most of us seriously will give you answers like strip clubs and/or smoke some bc bud.

Collage is usually the best, if not, something memorable... like if i ever went anywhere, i'd probably expect a Honda badge welded onto a BOV or sth :D
Revscene ain't as bad as everyone thinks. Any forum you'll get kids making retarded comments but there will be a few helpful replies.
Think I'll stick to the collage idea and work on my photoshop skills.

imo, doing a collage by cutting and pasting looks much better than photoshop. sure it might not look as clean as a photoshop version, but its the time you spend on making it and the thought that counts. plus, throw it into a frame with mat and maybe get everyone to sign the mat, which surrounds the picture, with a good bye msg. frame would also double as protection, so the glued pictures of everyone dont fall off over time.
