It was the first time Silva appeared to have any competition. Nearly every fight he's had recently was him taking wet shits on the guys face and making him look stupid, even Anderson looked bored during the fight.

Yes, 4 rounds of wearing Anderson Silva down. You are right on that. Sonnen is also the only one that has won rounds agains Silva and would have won the fight if he didn't get careless the last 20 sec of the fight.

And if you guys don't remember, Chael admitted that Anderson's punches and kicks hurt A LOT.. and if you also were watching closely.. Anderson wasn't taken down so easily most of the time.. he was bracing himself so when he does fall on the ground.. his ribs wouldn't hurt that much more, than when he tries to defend it.. Basically he fell most of the time on his own terms so there's no pressure on his ribs..

Have any of you tried to fight with a world class wrestler with a bruised/broken ribs, you'd think twice about striking because if you miss you will go down hard.. and with an injury like that, you going to the ground hard = PAIN..

And did you see Chael's face? lol.. but that's probably from scar tissues..
