Anyone made a claim for lost/stolen/damaged stuff from a Credit Card?
just wondering any real life experiences with it. apparently most credit cards has the insurance for 90 days. i heard they make you do a car or home insurance claim first. can anyone confirm that?
i have, i bought an iphone, dropped it out of my pocket on a sofa in furniture store, then 2 mins later it was jacked. Filed a police report, provided receipt and RBC credit card insurance refunded my money a month later. Pretty awesome service if you ask me. Extra blanket of protection.
Yeah we have it good in Canada. In other countries you get no protection at all unless you pay a lot of extra money for it. But you do get free calculators and ipod shuffles!!!

Is true. I bought a costume off a online store. Later found out the site have all kinds of bad reviews so i went on the website's live chat wanted a refund. They refuse.
So I then went through with my credit card and they reversed in a week.

2 mins? Wow that is fast, sounds like someone was in the sofa waiting to pickpocket you.
