What's the most Pain you have felt?

So what is the most pain you have felt? (Physical Pain) If you have pictures to share, even better. I've never felt any true pain worth mentioning. The most pain I experienced was back in 1998 in Grade 7. Our car had tons of snow on it and I was getting dropped off at school. I wasn't paying very much attention and when I closed the door, I slammed the door with my thumb in the way and the door actually closed. My dad, hearing the door close, takes off. I drop my bag and I'm running along the car. The car probably moved a little over a car length. The first second was shock and a WTF moment. lol
I went to class but 15 minutes into it, I went home. Thumb was swollen, purple, and felt super hot. Eventually the nail fell off and I got me a new one.

I cut off my middle finger on my left hand and they sewed it back on. I was supposed to take off the bandages and clean it so I only had 100% rubbing alcohol and poured some in a glass and just put my reattached finger into it just a day after surgery. I hit the fucken roof it hurt so bad. After that I could put rubbing alcohol on any scrape or cut and it wouldn't phase me. I was 13 at the time.

too many to list that were all pretty equally painful in their own way.
Dropped boiling water all over my chest/stomache when i was about 5. still have scar.
caught my thumb in a conveyor belt when i was about 7. ripped off all skin to the bone. still have scar.
fell off a couch when i was 3-4. tooth went straight through lip. still have scar.
ran head first full speed into concrete wall. fractured skull.
those were prolly the most painful ones.

I also had gas poured onto my feet and ankles in Moab and my buddy was jokin around and lit my bare skin on fire. Both of my ankles had 3rd degree burns 5" high all the way around. Fucken sucked so much pain weeks after cause I couldn't wear shoes had to apply cream and gauze for a couple months, anything they touched instant pain shot through my whole body. I was more pissed about that was the first time wearing brand new $250 Merrall hiking runners that got toasted.
When I was on fire first thing I did was stop drop and roll, I was moving so quick and with fuel on me the flames so huge ended up having 5 buddys dive on my and pour beer on my legs to put it out(most scared in life I have ever been being on fire alive) I kicked my burnt shoes off and walked to my cabin. I remember standing there looking at my ankles and pulled the burnt skin off both of them gross as hell and I can't believe I actually did that. I then walked over to a picnic table and pounded back a 1 litre bottle of baquardi lemon to my head. finished it in a couple gulps.

Probably when i got kicked in the nutsack. heh.
but in reality the most pain i've ever been in was actually getting menstrual cramps. They were bad enough to have me lying curled up in a cold sweat. couldn't get up or move. I had to stay home from school. The pain was like getting stabbed with a redhot poker and having someone twist it around everytime the pain fades a little. It was bad enough to make me vomit. I'm on medication now to control it.
I got my ribs tattooed and that didn't compare since i was texting through the whole thing. Breaking my nose was painful but didn't compare either.

Worst pain for me would be when I was running a cutting torch (big tip at 70psi) and the tip got caught in a hole in my freehand glove and I couldn't get it out until I finally shook the whole glove off. Ever seen a toasted human bone?
Worst pain I think I might encounter that I'm scared shitless of? Passing kidney stones. I've heard from women that have given birth and they say it's (passing stones) WAAAAAY worse.

Ever been hit with the puck in the nuts so hard that your testicle exploded?
Never happened to me either, but I saw some guy take a slapshot to the hand and his pinky blew up. Litterally the tip of the pinky was gone. Couldn't find any pieces for the doctors to reattach.
Supposedly, a team mate's friend was a goalie and took one in the sack and one of the marbles blew up.

Haha... there are 2 things about physical pain. First is how badly it hurts, and second is how long the pain last.
I've closed a door on my finger before. The inital shock hurt, but it was short. After the inital pain, it became a long throbbing pain till I had the blood released.
My worst pain was a really bad cavity that required a root canal. The pain was so bad, it gave he a really bad headache. The pain lasted a long time because the pain was constant until I had the root canal.

The first time they give birth, it stretches to the point it tears the skin between the bum and birth hole. Sometimes doctors will cut it and then sew it back together afterwards.
But once they have one kid, the second time is easier and by the third time or more, they baby just pops right out.

I don't think physical pains could ever match up to emotional pains.
One time I came across my father's journal and in one entry, it was about the things he did for me that day and his thoughts on it. I really did take him for granted.

uhmm kind of a three way tie
i broke my wrist ages ago and got a cast.. when i went in to get another xray to see how things were growing back, it looked like my wrist wasn't set correctly (slightly) so the doctor cut my cast off and basically forced my forearm and hand together (like wresting with a tight socket) i blacked out for a few seconds
another would be when i skewered my hand with a potato peeler trying to dig out a root from the potato i was peeling.. it went right through the potato and into my palm and almost through
and lastly would be horrible constipation horrible horrible constipation... that might be the worse... even more than a crippling back muscle spasm (which lost out to the top 3)

Dislocating my shoulder for the 4th time in 5 weeks playing rugby (I tried to make a form tackle on one of the bigger guys) and it stayed out for about an hour. Sat there and watched my team lose the fraser valleys waiting for an ambulance to come, only for that to get delayed (Were at Yale in abbotsford, hospital is 30 mins away). Then as the ambulance was backing in to take me to the hospital, i popped my own shoulder back in standing up to get to the stretcher. FUUUUUU

My cousin's death was the most painful thing I ever felt. he was like a brother to me. i don't think you ever stop grieving after losing a loved one. you just suppress it and some days you just can't.
Played half a season and playoffs in a tier with a decent amount of ex major junior players with a torn acl. Not the smartest thing I've done and granted its probably doesnt sound as bad as it is or stack up to many other things but it really ends up taking a toll.
tooth pain, nothing compares, totally disabled me for 2 weeks! couldn't even think, i popped an advil every hour.

had an electric water boiler (the Asian variety which you find in every asian home, which goes up to 270 degrees C) pour it's entire contents onto my 4 year old left thigh.
Still got a scar about the size of my palm
Or it could be getting 7 stitches on my forehead in grade 4 after some idiot girls decided to jump off the opposing side of a see-saw I was on, causing me to flip and crack my head on the hard metal BOLTS that were sticking out of the wood frame....oh yeah, the stitches were without painkillers goddamn I cried. and then proceeded to get a Thomas train set after the horrifying experience

i've had a lot of injuries in the past, been skateboarding for 10 years now and i've only smashed the back of my head on concrete once. i used to be careless when i was younger, always thought of myself as a tough person, always took the pain, didn't report injuries, and left injuries untreated to heal itself unless it was "severe".
i've damaged my ACL in the gymnastics facility at my school. i was sitting on a workout machine and i wasn't paying attention as my friend kicked the sliding seat i was on and i lost balance and my ankle scraped the corner of a metal bar(which was veeery sharp) and cut my tendon. again. can't really remember how long it hurt for, but it was for a long time though.
another injury was when i was in woodwork and my friends we're playing with the air hoses that hang from the ceiling. they pulled it back and let it go, it swung right into the back of my head and left me bleeding. i still have the scar on back of my head. i had to get that one treated, since blood was streaming down my neck and back. couldn't hide that LOL.
another injury i had resulted in scars on all 4 of my knuckles. i was skateboarding at a very high speed down a hill and while i was pushing, my foot got too close to my wheel and accidently kicked the skateboard. my board went sideways, and i eventually lost balance. everyones first instance is to support yourself with your hands.. well, i was riding with a discman in my hand and in order to protect it, i had to use the back of my hand. basically, my knuckle acted as a brake for me.
lastly, i think the most painful of all my injuries was when i twisted my ankle. i was snowboarding pretty fast and i didn't know what happened, but i wiped out at a high speed and i twisted my ankle. since it was so sudden, it didn't hurt as much as getting my foot out of the boot:( i left that untreated. soon after healing, everytime i walked, my ankle would click. but it's been a while since the injury now, and the clicking has gone.
lesson: report any injury, even if they're small. treat them, even if they're small.
sorry if post is too long lol, be safe everyone!
i also had boiling water on my hand when i was 4. my skin bubbled!

No.
For guys, Kidney Stones. There is no pain that i have suffered, even getting hit square in the balls by a soccer ball that comes even remotely close to Kidney Stones. It's unbearable.
According to a lady in the emergency when I was there getting morphine for the pain, it was actually worse than giving birth for her.
Edit: I had to survive for three weeks with am 8mm stone stuck in the little pipe thingy that comes out of my kidneys. Unfun.

The worst for me was smashing my face into a curb when I was 10. I was on my bike in the rain and braked and the brake came unscrewed and got stuck between the spokes. I went over the handlebars face first and collided with the curb directly on my mouth/nose. 386 stitches inside my mouth, shattered my nose completely (it was really gross, you could move it around anywhere) but they couldn't fix it, so now I have trouble breathing properly at night, along with a high grade concussion and blood loss that left me passing out in the bathroom at the hospital. Still get black outs to this day. Was also out of school for a month and a half while everything healed. Roof of my mouth looks like patchwork now.
Getting my lower lip ripped open by my grandmother's dog just after I went back to school from the previous accident, still have the scar.
Getting pushed headfirst into a piece of bare steel when I was 4 by my step-sister. Sliced right through my eye-brow, still have the scar.
Putting my arm through a glass table when I was 5. Scar from that too.
Abscessed tooth last November. 2nd most painful thing I've ever experienced.
Falling into a sharp metal ledge in pre-school, scar again.
Some weird back problems I was having about 6 years ago, crippling back pain, wasn't able to stand up straight let alone walk properly. Sucked really bad. Missed a week of work because of it.

Broke my Femur while snowmobiling in the backcountry of Big White. The initial breakage didn't hurt (I didn't even know it was broken until I tried to get up. I realized it was broken when I tried to get up and noticed the bone poking up into the skin).
The most painful part was while the rescue crew was towing me out along the trail using their own snowmobiles. My leg was unsecured and I was laying on a plastic tarp. The whole time no one could hear my screams. I felt every little bump from the snow tracks shifting my leg around. The 20 minute ride felt like hours.

5 years ago at work. trimming a cedar hedge with a hedge trimmer. about 5 feet up a ladder. ladder some how lost its footing and i started to fall. as i was falling i let go of the trigger on the trimmer to grab onto the cedar. as i was falling, the trimmer swung around and tore into my hand. basically cut my thumb off, and chewed it up, and tore into 3 places in my index finger and hand about an inch deep. 5 hours of emergency surgery, +200 stitches and a couple screws to put it back together.
that part didnt hurt
the part that hurt was the next 2 weeks. it felt like i had my hand in a fire 24/7. worst burning pain ive ever felt. percs and morphine didnt even touch it.
and i had terrible ear infections when i was a kid. that hurts IN YOUR BRAIN! im surprized no one has mentioned that

Both times it was during final exam time during university, so unless it was a major coincidence, I'm thinking stress is a definite factor for me developing kidney stones.

only things i can think of are:
1. slicing the tip of my index finger open (horizontally) with a butcher's knife while washing dishes at age 8 or 9. what i had done was take the sponge and ran it straight across the blade. i remember i did this because i was thinking about how my bitch ass sister kept complaining i did a bad job washing dishes. when i got home from the hospital i had apparently spurted blood all over the sink area.
2. tobaganning with my overweight sister when the thing flipped over and i went downhill on my chin with my sister on my head. did i mention she's a fatass? :fuuuuu:
3. last year i got iritis from my dog accidentally jabbing me right in the eye (110lb dog). the pain was intense and non-stop for a good 4 weeks. couldn't even sleep without pain killers. vision was blurred, had to see eye specialist (about 10 appts), multiple eye drops, could have lost sight in the one eye.
other than that i've been pretty lucky. no broken bones or anything like that. i don't count the minor things like sprained ankle, slicing my cheek open by dropping a cat convertor on my face, etc.

Might as well chime in ....
Oddly enough I have had some "serious injuries" such as broken raidus/ulna, basal skull fracture, and some broken ribs, but the worst pain I have experienced did not stem from any of these...
Tooth ache from a tooth with sever dental carries... tooth pain is terrible.
Honorable mention for various broken fingers, and especially my right thumb over and over and over again.
Also hurt my back lifting something a couple months ago, though it was painful for a few weeks I would take tooth pain in a second, but it really made me realize what people with back injurys have to deal with, mobility was terrible, and any little movement you make is rarely isolated to your extremities, almost movement you make requires the use of your core muscles and when your core muscles arent working properly... it makes daily life very irritating.

Getting hit with a .40 bullet while wearing a level II ballistic vest, hurt like a mofo. It felt like there was a truck parked on top of my chest and you get that feeling that you can't breath for about a couple minutes, it actually hurt more than getting hit without the vest, happened while I was working private security.

Wasn't a training session, we try not to fire live rounds at each other during those ;) I was working for a client in California, who attended a party where a situation between two third parties escalated out of control and my client out of his own stupidity while trying to act as captain save-a-ho got involved so me and the rest of the security detail had to get involved.
7seven wins. You ever worked for a PMC or just "local" VIP stuff?
Mine: Had a chunk of flesh torn out of my hip in a motorcycle accident when I hit a road reflector while sliding. Wound was about 2"x1" and 3/4" deep, was burnt and had a lot of debris in it. Nurse, using all her strength, scrubbed it clean with a hard nylon scrub "brush" that they use for pre-surgery cleaning of doctors' hands. No anesthetic and it was right on the nerves. I have a pretty high pain tolerance and I almost lost consciousness.

I went off a dirt jump on my mountain bike like five years ago, and than I nose cased the landing tranny of the jump went over my bars. From the impact the helmet came off and I hit my head on to the ground pretty hard also landing wrist first. I wad blacked out for like 15mins and when I woke up all my friends were surrounding me and one of them was like "duuuude yur fuken wrist!" I looked over and my bone was poking out not through e skin but my skin was stretched poked out from it... had to get a metal plate in there for surgery and now I have a very ugly scar from it on my right wrist :(

When I was about 8 or 9, my brothers and I were playing keep away. I was standing close to stairs to the garage and my older brother gets pissed off and pushes me. I fall backwards and my left arm flies back and hits a large, open tin container. Sliced my wrist clean. So much blood gushing and didn't even go to the hospital for stitches. Til this day, if you press hard enough, the pain is still there. Gotta go to the doctors and get that scar tissue out.

I had six 5 inch incisions on the sides of both of my calves after surgery for compartment syndrome and was laid up for a few months recovering. I wasn't able to walk/stand properly for a long time, and for the first few weeks it hurt like hell to put ANY pressure on my feet at all. So like 4 days after I was home from the hospital I try to go to the bathroom. I pull myself with my hands slowly to the side of my bed, drop my legs over the edge prop myself against a desk and pull myself onto an office chair. I bring the chair's height up and turn it around so that I can prop myself against the desk again and get up onto crutches so that I could hobble my way an inch at a time down the wall towards the door. Problem was that all the medication I was on to numb the pain made me dopey as hell and when I got to the door I fell through it, bending my ankles forward at all the wrong angles. Worst part of it was I had to wait 10 minutes for anybody else to get back to my place and help me up. That was the most pain I've ever endured and it was through a healthy dose of percocet too. Worst pins and needles, even worse than tattooing right over bone, along with constrictive pressure that was way off the charts (and my condition previously meant I commonly had 3-4x compartment pressure and it blew that away). Ugh, even just remembering this is going to send me to the liquor cabinet.

Hmmm...let's see.
Tore my ACL playing football. That hurt like crazy as my leg past my knee was twisted in the wrong direction. Lay on the ground just outright screaming in pain for a good few minutes.
Twice at the dentist. When I had my wisdom teeth taken out, they gave me about six shots and it didn't work. I have a weird nerve condition in my gums. Told the dentist to take them out anyways. I was watching TV while he did it and when he cracked and pulled the first one, I absolutely shattered the remote in my hand. It was a bunch of parts and batteries afterwards.
And I had a root canal done at a new dentist as my old dentist botched a job that caused me to need a root canal in the first place. When he drilled to the bottom and touched the nerve endings at the bottom of my tooth, it hurt like fuck. I yelled and tore the arm off the dentist chair.
I don't remember the times I've been kicked in the nuts. I do remember losing the toenail off my big toe playing road hockey as a kid. That hurt too...needed stitches to close a gash in the spot where my toenail should've been.
Strangely, I've never broken a bone.

Damn there's some good'uns.
Was i the hospital about 4-5 years straight between 2-7yrs old for various injuries to the head. Still have scars from all that.
Had gingivitis one time and had a loose tooth so the doc decided to pull it. And since my jaw small too small at the time he figured he might as well pull the other tooth (which was fine and fully rooted) to make it "symmetrical"... Since I had gingivitis he couldn't give me any anesthetic. Feeling your tooth slowly being ripped out is no fun.
Done my fair share of extreme sports, I've eaten shit enough times downhilling. Been knocked out once or twice and should've been knocked out way more times.
Lost a bunch of finger nails.
Best picture of my latest injury? See if you can spot what's wrong... Shoulder is still messed from it, prolly shoulda had surgery but the doc wanted me outa there cuz he can do that with collarbones. My shoulder is now pushed in too much, facing forward, and too high. I still can't sleep on it and it's been about 16 months since I did it.

When I was about 12 years old my parents had a camping spot right on the water. I was screwing around down on the beach in the logs making a fort or some shit and had my leg in between two logs. I went to turn and bend and everything from my knee down didn't turn. I ended up tearing all the cartilage in my one knee. I was screaming so hard I remember. Went to bed that night in horrible pain and woke up in the morning to go to the Doctors and I couldn't even put Jeans on because my knee was so swollen. I noticed I had a purple dot in my ankle and when I went to the doctor I asked him about it and he said it was the blood running down the inside of my leg and pooling in my ankle...gross..
Also I've been pushed into a block wall and got a tooth smashed out. Hit in the face with a rock and a tooth smashed out.
Also i dislocate my knee like once a month because I have excess fluid buildup behind my knee cap so it pops out like nothing.

When I was in elementary school, I had this awesome idea to stand at the top peak of one of these:
http://www.geodomas.lt/content/images/9ea58adba1d460063d325d4a2b694ab5.jpg
... then I had this epic idea of thinking that I could actually jump off to the side of the whole thing ... well ... yeah I never made it ... instead I ended up crotch slamming one of the thin metal corners near the edge from a 5 foot drop ... rolled off it in slowmotion and was in instant fetal position for about 20 minutes.

cant really remember most of my injuries but there was one time in gr 4 when i was running as fast as i could and jumped over a short fence thing and my foot got caught and crashed face first into concrete with alot of momentum, I also had braces which cut up my whole inner lips and scraped the top of my mouth so much that it was just a huge gash and had blood all over my mouth teeth and face, ran home crying and my mom freaked out LOL

When I had a cystoscopy, Doctor inserted a telescoping thing into my penis to look into my bladder. No joke.
I'm split.
Wisdom tooth/dry socket. Holy fuck. I couldn't sleep for almost two weeks 'cause of the pain from them. Motherfucker ow. T3s were almost as bad, eating my stomach away.
Iv also had dry socket after having a impacted wisdom tooth surgically removed, extremely uncomfrotable feeling, I rmb I went bak to the dental surgeon a few days later cuz the pain was so bad and he had his assistant put a gauze pad drenched in disinfectant/medicine, right into the fresh hole of where the wisdom tooth was, one of the most uncomfortable pains ever!!! After 45min of having the gauze pad in place in the bak of my mouth the pain was gone! Came bak 5 days later had the gauze pad removed

Went on a golf date.
Showed the girl how to swing the Big Bertha driver, she said she was OK and wanted to try. I walked back to the lawnchair and felt a thud, and went deaf. Sat down, and saw her swinging the driver around wondering what she had hit. Dude in next stall was like "buddy your girl just capped you in the head!"
I felt hot water running down my neck and it was blood. Got to the hospital and had 10 stitches on my scalp!
Dislocating my arm at the shoulder socket was pretty bad too.

I then walked over to a picnic table and pounded back a 1 litre bottle of baquardi lemon to my head. finished it in a couple gulps.
what the fuck are wrong with your friends? Is this what you white idiots scream and yell about when you are drunk ? It must've sounded like this: "YEAHH FUCK YEAHHHHH "

My quack dentist spent 8 hours (4hr saturday and 4hr sunday night ) and failed to remove all of my wisdom teeth out. By the 2nd hour the novocaine wore off and had little effect after the 3rd-4th injections. Plus his pick/tools ripped the sides of my gums. Every morning I yawned it broke the scabs and I would bleed for 20 mins. T3s did so little.
The Oakridge mall specialist 4th floor took 15 mins and no pain.

Coming back after an intense practise of dragon boating. Pretty stoked that the team did well and I had a date after. Ran to the metal shack that serves as a the change room. As I ran to the shack, I noticed that there was a sheet of metal laying on the ground like a ramp. In hopes of clearing the sheet, I jumped in full speed. Mistimed the jump and ended up landing on the high side of the sheet. Got lauched head first into the shack. Ended up colliding with the upper part of the doorway. The sheet metal was sticking out and sliced a portion of the scalp off.
Lost a lot of blood on the way to hostipal so I was all dizzy. Even though most of missing scalp was cut clean, there was a still a little "lip" of skin that needed to be cut off. I have NO idea why the hell they decided to put a student nurse to treat my wounds, but she was scared out of her mind. She froze the wrong part of scalp. Thus, I felt every little cut she attempted.
Hurt so bad, I stood up suddenly screamed for a doctor.
Dad later told me that I scared the nurse so bad she pissed her pants.. (im pretty sure he is making it up, but he claims it is true)
He said I had blood running down my face and screaming that I was going to kill her.....
I dont remember much that happened in the hostipal as the a doctor came in and knocked me out with something. lol

I spent 2 weeks in hospital racked up on morphine, 1 of which i never got out of bed.
