My 2000 subaru 2.5rs. V3 motor built (weisco forged pistons, cosworth trimetal bearings, forged rods, billet crank, built heads, perrin 850 cc injectors, much more), V6 drivetrain, GT35R rotated turbo with big FMIC, Hydra EMS management, Hydramist alki spray, a beat up cwest body kit, carbon hood and wing, and more. Eibach 8 way adjustable coil over suspension as well as some cusco struts and sways. Sparco race seat, sparco steering wheel, sparco pedals. Very loud, very fast, very fun, very sad to sell. More pictures upon request
To those who don't know, this is a car that's most at home on a dirt or snow covered road, and makes between 400-600 hp EASY depending on the tune you're running. The engine managaement is controlled by a laptop that comes with the car so you can tune to your hearts desire. All this done on pump gas (94 octane) with the help of alcohol injection.

This car while annihilate just about anything else on the roads, it is built to suck gas and kick ass and it does it better than anything I can think of. Acceleration wise, from a 100km/h roll on the highway, you can pull like a 1000cc street bike, and then turn like an awd beautiful race car. It's intoxicating. Buy it before my financial situation is rectified and I keep it

Best part is there's only about 5000 kms on the built motor with the turbo and all the fancy trimmings, it's barely broken in.

To satisfy another question I get a lot, yes, of course it's a daily driver. You make as much or as little hp as you want . . . . it's not just a civic with a big turbo on a stock motor. This is a built motor with a fully TUNABLE engine management system. I run 17 psi when I'm just cruising around casual (400-450hp). The number of occassions in which you will upload the 25psi program off the laptop and make OVER 600hp are up to you. Do it daily and see how long it lasts, or do it once a week on a nice sunday and drag it out gradually. I think people are missing that concept. Another missed concept is that you can run these boosts with confidence because again, alcohol injection. Hydramist is made my aquamist (top of the range), and is modular. It starts spraying a little with a little boost, and sprays more with a lot of boost. This means you keep your charge temps down, and reliability way up. I think a lot of people have ECU FLASH stuck in their head and are scared of big hp cars.

slysti

Thanks Tigger
And yes it was tuned professionally by Planet Motorsport in Guelph, Ontario. Very reputable subaru builder much like rocket rally, only instead of rocket richard it's a funny little scottish dude named Iain.
I just had it out for a rip up to Pemby yesterday with the wife, first drive in a long time and it drove wonderfully.

car was recently inspected at a local shop in burnaby that will remain unamed to stay fair to everyone. It was given a clean bill of health, mechanically superb car. Be faster than your friends, man up and get behind some horsepower!

price drop again to $11k, but flexible with cash offers. My daily driving truck just kicked it, this car has to go.

probably stupid question...can you detune the settings to run on lower octane (read cheaper) fuel for daily driving?

Thanks !Nhan. I share the sentiment. . . . . especially given that most of the cars these people shitting on my thread are driving are the polar opposite of performance cars . . . . civics and integras with some LEDs and rims. I have yet to hear anything negative from someone with an equal or greater performing car, or even a performance car period . . .
The SINGLE racing seat in the car came with the car when I bought it. It's actually quite nice albeit a touch weathered. I have the original stock driver seat and the stock hood with a matching paint job as well. Don't like it? Return it to stock . . . . and am I allowed to say unless you can spank this car, don't shit on it?

And to respond to Quicksilver yes you can fully detune the car to whatever setting you like. I printed a user guide to accompany the laptop and Hydra EMS software on it so it's pretty straightforward. I don't know if I mentioned the datalogging capabilities this opens but it's a very handy tuning feature and is generally quite fun to use. If you don't know anything about data logging or tuning you can either contact me personally or just check it out online at Hydra EMS's website.
You can tune it so that the turbo doesn't make any boost at all if you please. Also the Alcohol injection system (Hydramist, made by Aquamist to work specifically with the HYDRA EMS) has a safety feature for running high boost on regular 94 octane where if there is a failure in the system (ie, lack of flow past the sensor) it will revert to a safe fuel mapping to prevent harm to the engine from the higher charge temps.
Again, can't stress enough, unless you can beat it, don't knock it.
And again, given a clean bill of mechanical health at a local shop. This is a sweet ride that will hopefully find a loving and deserving home soon.

you ever try NASIOC forums? i find that when you want to sell something unique that's built up, it's best to go to a community that know's specifically what to look for in a <insert brand>

slysti

Appreciate the input but yes it's on NAISOC and RS25.com. It gets tons of interest, just no money as of yet.

Price Drop again to 10K. Come on this is a no brainer. Show me another 600+hp car of any kind for 10K. That's less than a lot of stock integras of a similar vintage. Does nobody like reliable horsepower in this fair town?
This car must sell now as my daily driver (work truck) has shat the bed and is in need of repair. Also if you know anyone who is capable of swapping diesel motors (custom fab work) shoot me a PM.

still no takers? Is nobody into performance these days? I just drove the car around for the last two weeks it's a mean machine

I'm almost hoping that someone will rear end me and write off my WRX so I can buy this sick 2.5rs.. Me and slysti used to work together back in the day and we may have "allegedly" raced on highway 99.. This car walked past my R32 GTR no problem, it is truly a MONSTER.
