I recently brought a used car, the previous owner lowered the car by quiet a bit(i don't really wanna do anything to this car). the lowest part of the front lip is about 4-5cm off the ground.

As i plan to commute alot in this car. im asking anyone with experience driving lowered car to list places, schools, malls, resturants, parks etc in lower mainland(mainly vancouver and richmond) that we should avoid to prevent scraping of our cars. occational scrap is fine... but mainly places thats will be impossible to make it to. thanks!

landsdowne, you should really figure out the way to get in and park w/o going over any speed bumps..

41st ave is a fucking shithole at the moment

any kind of shady back alley with really weird ground camber

for richmond:
- no 3 rd northbound between cook and bridgeport, every entrance to a plaza is raised like a speed bump, thanks to the stupid bike lane
- Lansdowne, huge fuking speed bumps
- going up P2 at Parker

Most of 41st from Main to eastwards. Nanaimo from Kingsway to Grandview.
Massive construction on those roads.

4-5cm is not a lot

Here's some in vancouver.
Nanimo between kingsway and broadway
Left lane on boundary north bound
Crossing any big streets just go a little slower trucks makes these deep grooves your car bounching up and down will hurt

Every single 7-11 parking lot in the GVRD.

I have never met a single one that I like.

As I found out today, the Jonker Honda service bay. My undercarriage scraped for so long and so loud that every mechanic in there looked up to see what was happening. :lol

But most newer parking lots have those annoying super wide speedbumps that are often a lot higher than they appear. Be careful around those.

41st avenue is okay west of Knight St.

I'm just waiting for them to repave 41st east of Knight towards Victoria and such...before there were potholes and patches everywhere.

Also, No.4 rd between westminster hwy and blundell...

chevron gas station at the intersection of mcbride and 8th, the 8th ave street entrances. I scraped pretty badly at stock height coming out of there, must be impossible for a lowered car.

I find the entire Cambie Street in Richmond often really bumpy too, especially in right lanes.

-venable st. just before the georgia viaduct,
-davie street between burrard and granville,
-going eastbound on highway one at the bottom of the hill in north van just before the second narrow bridge( just after that small steel structure bridge)
-kingsway is a no go
-any back alley with speedbumps
-every roads who are in middle of the resurfacing process with manhole sticking out 3-4 inches...
- those gas tank lid cover sticking out at gas stations can be a bitch, they look like manhole.. they usually stick out quit a bit !

polishing frame rails daily !!

With 4-5 cms of clearance, basically everywhere in Vancouver ... as you can tell by the numerous comments.
