Anyways I don't agree that Overweight people increase health premiums. You can be overweight and be really really healthy. It's all diet. Carb loading and overweight? Probably get diabetes. Eating a diet full of healthy fats that's high caloric/protein? Probably get fat, but you'll live till your 110.

Look at life expectancy in france or greece. And the older people are not fit at all.

IQ is a relative scale. 100 is the mean. If you kill off the bottom 30 percent of the lowest IQ. 100 will just get shifted to the smarter bunch, making them the mean.

if you've exercised regularly then you know how much of a stress reliever it is.
I dont understand why the companies didnt step in before the government since japan is all about productivity and its painfully obvious that a fit worker will have higher energy levels and mental focus than someone overweight.

Too bad politicly correct N.America doesnt have the balls to emplement something like this. Ofcourse the big corps wouldnt let it happen anyways...

I agree, but not on the longevity party. How many centenarians do you know are remotely overweight? Calorie restriction theory has its merits.

Japan's life expectancy rates are actually skewed because there are something like 30k 100+ year olds that they can't confirm are alive.
