things you'll need
-any glass bottle. i used a leftover absolut vodka bottle from a previous drinking night 750ml

-you'll need a diamond tip drill bit to drill a hole in the glass without shattering the whole bottle
-$20 at canadian tire but i just borrowed one from a buddy.
-electric drill.
-down stem + bowl bought from the gift store beside the vapour lounge in downtown. $10 for stem, $25 for bowl
-GE silicone sealant II approx $5 for a whole stick. already had some at home.
total spent: $35 - stem and bowl

measure the angle you want the down stem to be positioned, then measure the approx location that would be best to drill the hole.

then drill the hole. have the down stem handy so you can see if it's angled to your liking yet or not. if not, keep drilling the hole so the bottom part is longer... oval-like.
*oh did i mention? it's good to have water running over the hole you're drilling to keep the temperature constant. otherwise the glass might overheat while drilling and crack.

now that's done, i used some GE silicone sealant II to keep the down stem in place and seal up the sides from the hole i drilled.
wait couple hours for the silicone to cure.
then you're good to go :)

First one I bought it at Sammy J's cause I kept buying rounds of it. Cleaned out the bottle. My friend who works at the bar gave it to me. This was Last Summer.

One sitting on my desk, my friend gave it to me before he went to HK. No idea where he got it from though.

Just bought me a Crystal Head Vodka bottle gotta say its pretty cool and comes with 2 little skull cups as well for 65 bucks

also went to the BCL on tyne and Kingways and them said this has been very popular of late I got their last one before the new shipment arrives..

also Vansterdam you mind PM photos of the finished product I'm trying to decide where to drill into the skull and could use ur as a reference

that's true...but those ones are usually pieces of shit!
poor quality.

i saw some cheap ones at the bcmp store
they were about the size of a baseball for $30-40
not bad looking but it's a pretty small hit.

They got good glass blown by local glass blowers but I recommend you check out one of the PUFF stores

If you guys had a small butane torch you could heat the glass of the downstem and angle it so the bowl was flat.... just saying...

this was a last night want to get it done version. i just put in a rubber grommet and a bowl. in the next day or 2 i will be buying a stem that i will then angle in to hold it in a better position, we just used our thumbs to hold it on the poper angle....its just doing that cause its only in a hole with a grommet. works crazy good...super cool.

sometimes when you get excited and are limited on parts at 9pm, you do what you goto do to get it to work. still got a couple finishing touches :P

Couldnt you just use a small torch to heat up the glass to make it air tight instead of using silicon.. Not sure how safe silicon is when breathed in..

did some research before i actually did it. after the silicone cures there is no smell whatsoever. and should be perfectly safe.
